Im not sure if this has been posted anywere else but I am really gutted that Cahill has recently signed a new contract,
If we could by a top player excluding the likes of Messi and Ronaldo then I would have Cahill.
Surely he would rather play in the CL for us than stay at Everton and not go anywere,

Does everyone else think that Cahill is quality or is it just me?

Great player - but because of his injuries - didn't make much of an impact at Everton.

Cahill is a quality player, I'd say he's Everton's best. I was hoping the blue scousers would let us have Cahill in return for Beckford, what with us having a thing for Aussie players. Pity...

Arteta is also great, I personally think it's a disgrace he's not been picked for the Spain squad in the WC.

Everton on the whole have a very talented and deep squad, where everyone plays a part instead of just the strikers. Kinda like Spurs really.

He had another immense game last night. Scored another header and had 2 shots cleared off the line, he is a very very good player. Even though we have close to 0% chance of signing him I'm just so surprised he has stuck carrying Everton along when he could easily walk into a top 6 side.

i reckon he is quality and could well be doing a "rooney" and signing a contract so that when he does leave Everton get some money. which is fair for both parties.

It's what people say about Bale. He could walk into any side in the world. But he stays with us. We are a club that are on the up, we are building a team and not dismantling one.

I guess the same goes for him and Everton, he seems happy there and may want to stay or something

I know what you are saying, Arteta is quality. But Spain won the WC, it's difficult to say they were using the wrong players based on that.
