it is frustrating that we have not been able to bring in any quality, although i think it's less to do with our current league posistion, and a lot more to do with commoli and the board. The impression i get is they have this vision of young european talent being bought for sod all, and coming good ala the scum around the corner. This seems to be the reason why we got kp boeteng instead of martin petrov etc etc.Unfortunately, for it too work, i think the players need to be the managers choice, and the players coming in need experienced leaders/professionals to learn from, which we don't really have, except for King and keane perhaps.

I really hope this policy comes good, O'hara being a shining example of it being right, but otherwise we could end up being a magnet for every agent on the continent to unload some overated euro trash onto.

p.s If berba does go, and i very much hope he doesn't, but if he does, what do people think of kanoute coming back to replace....

im not to happy about the lack of movement to and from the lane this time round gus was very vocal about his and ramos desire to strenghen and improve the team !!! things are a little to quite for me , :17:

If we are to sign players, we surely want to sign QUALITY. No one in EUrope will let there best players leave in Jan, so you end up looking in the second tier of the market for stop gaps.

I wouldnt be too upset if we didnt sign anyone. Expect BIG moves in the summer.
