The man is a TRUE Legend and not just for our mighty SPURS but for our COUNTRY!!

Spurs & England was where i remember him most and his goal scoring record was truely amazing.

Lineker always gave his all for our country and this protest shows the nature of the man!

Yup! Lineker will always be justifiably remembered in high regard by the WHL faithful....too bad it's unrequited....He usually mentions Leicester as his #1 club.

every week when match of the day is on, hes always gutted when we lose and rubbed it in so much when we beat Man City to the other pundits.

Sorry! I didn't mean to start a riot....I'm only going on interviews I've seen....I'm sure he has good memories of his Spurs years, but I think you will find that his early days have left a lasting impression.

Sunday last he spoke about the England game the night before, saying how all the players were behind Robert Green and then chipped in with "pity they were"nt behind him last night" ..........getting a bit sarcy in his old age haha !

always remember him scoring seemingly at will in Mexico with that cast on his arm. One of the players who first turned me on to English football. Good fella and lethal goalscorer.
