what a nightmare! :3: :3:
6 wins out of 22!!
4 points away from relegation
lost 10 games already
unbelievably bad transfers from MJ at the start of the season :28:
really don't know how and when we could change all that! :27:
wondering myself sometimes how some of the users here in this forum are so optimistic about the team at the moment.
watched the match on saturday at stanford bridge. there was no moment in the game where i thought we could get away with a win or maybe one point.
all very disappointing this season!!
my daughter (4) always ask me if we've won. but most of the times i have to tell her that the other team won. never a nice thing to say to a litte girl who loves to wear her spurs shirt and spurs merch :3:
'It's like a toaster, the ref's shirt pocket. Every time there's a tackle, up pops a yellow card.'
The stats make for depressing reading, you are absolutely right.
I wouldn't blame Jol for the transfers. I lay the responsibility for that squarely at Commolli's door. And still do with Ramos in charge. Some of the potential targets we seem to have are mind boggling even now.
Optimism is always in short supply after a poor performance that results in a defeat, especially against Chelsea, as was the case on Saturday. I'd like to think I'm fairly realistic and would've loved a challenge on the top four, but I did say at the end of last season that was going to be a very tough proposition. As it turns out that's not going to happen for at least another year!
The cups could still be a route for some redemption. If we get wins at Reading, and home to Sunderland and the Goons the air of depression will lift somewhat.
The trials and tribulations of being a true supporter. Not like those fairweather Chelsea fans who turn up when they have a bit of success! It could be worse..... you could support Newcastle!
I totallly agree with mannyk on this one, I went into the season full of optimism and giving copious amouts of grief to my gooner mate only for it all to be thrown back in my face!
Im bemused at the optimism also that some forum members on here have still for the squad, theyve now proved their really not that good and im sorry but watching those two last fith place finishes we really wernt that convincing then either.
Ive said it before and il say it again the team/squad needs major changes theres just too much crap in there that arent any where near good enough to make us challenge are they? and thats basically what Spurs should be doing CHALLENGING the top four and not scrapping it out at the bottom with the also rans ffs.
This season is all about winning a cup now, forget finishing fith thats just not going to happen which makes winning a cup and securing UEFA cup footy for next season paramount.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
