finally awake after my 35 hour none stop manchester tour i just have to come out with my thoughts on the night!!
We were 4 guys coming in from Copenhagen and just like the rest of you we were very excited, the atmosphere before the game was magnificent, during the game citeh were clever enough to put us on 2 levels because had we all been on one tier the atmosphere during the match would have been the best ever!! still it was brilliant and i must admit that I had blood i my mouth the last 10 minutes
The game was as close as they get but the players gave us all what we deserved and the celebration was unbelievable, still gives me the chills even know when i write about it... BRILLIANT!
but what happend after the game was a complete disgrace! we were finally getting out and on our way towards the city center about 10 minutes from the ground we were assaulted by a gang of crack heads, not even a firm! it started with one of them screaming "yid c**t" into everyone who passed heads about an inch from there face! people was getting nervous and after a few minutes the first assualt came, and a few of us tried to stop it and did, but after that our people just scattered; which i understand cause they were clearly insane! it went on for 15 minutes and more than and handful of our guys were just beaten up because they were in the wrong place and the wrong time! it made me sick to see this happening after one of the greatest nights in our modern history and there were simply NO police.... i think its a disgrace and it really did affect me and still does!
Shocking, mate. All these fooked in the head wan*ers taking out their anger issues on innocent people. Was anybody seirously hurt?
Anyway, try to remember the game itself - how entertaining it was and how huge it is for the club, rather than a few bad eggs. I think the majority of city supporters are good. We've had a few come on the forum and congratulate us as well.
these idiots were not city supporters... well one of them were wearing a city shirt but i am not if he was part of the mob from the beginning! not sure if anyone was serioulsly hurt but the first assault would have been very ugly had we not interrupted, but that only made the sick bastards more angry!! my mind is also on the night and game itself, I just had to come out with this...

Sorry to hear that mate, hope none of you were seriously hurt. Thats why I didn't want to meet you in a pub by the ground beforehand, it rough as hell around there. Like you say it will be scumbags off the estate as opposed to proper fans. The vast majority of City fans are alright in my opinion.
Thats obviously why the police kept us inside for so long, its a shame there were none around when it mattered. How far away from the ground was it?
