for Robbie Keane? The bloke always tried his best, he's just had a dodgy few months trying to get his head round his failure at Liverpool.

I just can't help but feel he would have risen to the occasion yesterday and we could have got to see the irish jig again on the Eastlands touchline! He would have gone crazy and he seems a popular guy with the fans and particularly with his teammates. I just feel a little bit sad he's missed this great occasion, when he was so instrumental in almost bringing it about last time.

I'm certain he'll leave now, which is a bit sad, because respect to the bloke, he's a proper Yid. Unfortunately after the 'Pool debacle he'll probably never go down in history like he should.

My opinion won't be a popular one I understand that before I say it but as far as I'm concerned no I don't. The manner and timing of his move to Liverpool stank. When he came back tail between his legs he should have been treated like a new player but instead gets given the captaincy. How did he react to that? Taking the players to Ireland on a bender despite 'Arry instructions and all while failing to perform on the pitch.

Don't get me wrong in a Spurs shirt i'll give him my full support as I do with every player during game time. I'll always respect what he did for the club in his first spell too but now I don't miss him one bit and don't think we have suffered in the slightest by him being at Celtic.

Again I know it might not be a popular opinion but my love for Robbie died when he went to Merseyside.

Gotta go with Ben on this one they gave him the first class treatment when he deserved nothing more than a coach seat.

As long as we give him a good reception if he comes to the lane with Wolves, Everton, Newcastle, whoever! He deserves that at least.

I am only sad that we havent cashed in on him yet.

My feelings on him are well documented.

He is a Legend for his first spell at the club but a villain for his seccond IMO.

Lets Hope Mick McCarthy finds some spare change down the back of the Wolves board room sofa.

I've just got a feeling Newcastle will get him. He'd be cheap by their (old?) standards and would certainly keep them up.

I'll admit that for a second or two I think about Keane and how he deserved to go to the CL with Spurs based on his first run here. Then I remember him wanting to play for two of his boyhood dreams and that thought disappears. Robbie is and always will be a Legend to me. I appreciate everything he has done for the club. But we reached the CL based on absolutely nothing that he did. He doesn't deserve to share it with us ATM. That said, I am certainly open to him coming back and helping us get there agian next season. Always will have love for the man.

If he hadnt have fecked off to the Dippers and ruin his self confidence then he would have definately played last night and be a major part of our CL challenge next season.
He has had his chance since he came back to prove his worth and done nothing.
Perhaps Harry will give him another chance but i doubt it!
