and thers fookin loads of it comin our way so
do we put the "star" players on new improved contracts
do we go out and get four or five big quality players
or
two or three big players along with three or four good quality squad players and improve contracts for some players
the games that Spurs will find the hardest this year will be the first game AFTER a champ league game now most of you will have a better idea of the Spurs squad than me but what I dont want Spurs to do is qualify this year and fail to do it next year
but in the mean time
GO ON YOU SPURS
109 & counting
We have just gotta make sure that we get through the qualifier !
Revenue on average goes up by 30%.
as one of the 3 profitable clubs in the league our profits will also obviously increase.
£30,000,000 is a rough figure.
hence a new stadium![]()
Sexiest Spurs Fan!!!
I thought the figure was closer to the £50,000,000 mark
Bale on a new contract will be first priority.
I dont think we'll see the spending some people are expecting because of the new stadium.
Would £30 mil. be enough to buy a lock of Cristiano Ronaldo's hair?
Surely if we aim for CL next season we could use future income to make a bid for Torres?
We do need to be sensible and not lose our heads in the transfer market, get some real concentrated quality in and a couple of experienced heads, trim the deadwood and streamline the squad. Then keep the budget in line for the new stadium plans, as when we are there we can push on to aim higher than top 4!
