With the quality games been put in from tom huddlestone and luka modric in the centre midfield, the new signing of sandro where does that leave willy p?

Tom huddlestone for me is a great player. Hes young, has great passing range, creative, has a presence in the middle and now has improved his mobility to become a good defensive mid.

Modric has unbelievable first touch, good vision, good dribling, great balance and has a rare ability to read and inntercept opposition passes.
Looks great since moving to the middle and gives the team good drive from there. Once he can shoot then we have a world class player on our hands.

Sandro i dont know much but from the noise made around him and what harry can see in him looks to be a real talent and a hard midfeilder. captain of all the brazil youth side and maybe who knows maybe will captain the senior side? With that resume looks like at some stage during the season he will have a real crack in the first team.

So where does that leave wilson palacious? Has everything goin for him apart from the most simple part of the game ...............passing.

Right now we have absolutely nothing in Sandro. Can't assume we will get anything from him since he has never played a PL game. I expect him to do well, but lets not count those eggs just yet.

We will have grt CM options - Modric, Thudd, Palacios and Sandro.

3 of them physical beasts to play alongisde the skillful, world-class Modric.

Now that we are in the champions league, (oh i love saying that) even Harry will have to conider playing 4-5-1 now and then. Wilsons passing has been poor this season but I think he can do better, when he was at Wigan he was always finding Valencia on the right and creating attacks from the centre. Wilson is the biggest player for us in my opinion, since he has come in we can see out games and keep control of matches where we lost out before. Players who can defend the back four like him are rare, we are so lucky to have him.

harry is prob gonna play 5 in midfield next year so we need to change every once in a while n remember next year were playin carlin, fa cups and the league plus the CL we gott alot of matches :P:P so dont worry hes going 2 fit

Modric is getting better and better, i think he can genuinely handle CM in the prem now, and he works great with Hudd. That leaves Willy and Sandro as back up, which are very good options. Maybe one more real experienced midfielder, an older head a la Davids, would be nice to do a great job for a season or 2 while Sandro comes through and we may need a bit more cover. But they are 3 great options and one potentially great option in Sandro, as well as having 2 very good young midfielders with Parrett and Bostock, it makes sense to get a more experienced player in whilst the younger ones develop. Plus, a bit of CL experience won't go amiss next year!

I can't think who that player will be right now, but could cheekily say... Gattusso!?

Everyone needs a player like Wilson Palacios. Even if he's not first choice at the moment, we need him. He offers something none of our other midifielders offer. His workrate is fantastic, he'll chase everything down, tackle hard, doesnt give anyone any space.
If we make it through qualifiying and get to the group stage of the CL, we're going to need a player like him. Even having a player like that to come off the bench is brilliant. He'd run everyone into the ground.
