i think some of the comments iv read since our defeat to pompey are bang out of order and watching our fans leaving before the end made me very angry.
we played fairly well considering injuries and the state of the pitch... it just wasnt our day. harry made the right decision to bring defoe off not just because he was carrying an injury but the way pompey defended so deep it was always gonna be a thankless task by him.
we were the better team out there but it didnt work out.... shit happens.
its time to get behind this great club of ours as we got some quality football still to play and hopefully get the results that will see us play cl football next season.... and if that fails then it looks very likely that europa comes our way..... either way its been a great season and harry has done a great job. .........coys

Not trying to be funny BUT this happened after the penalty was rewarded. With 5 minutes left, and Pompey likely to score, these fans have every right to leave knowing that there's no way that the team could score 2 in 5 minutes (because they couldn't score one in 120 minutes)

TBH Funkfish, I was one of the fans that left before the end, (just after the penalty went in), this is the first time in my life that I have left before the end of a game, and I couldn't give a t0ss if this makes you or anyone else very angry.
What makes me angry is for everyone to keep saying its allright sh1t happens, we have been putting up with sh1t happening for too many years.
I'm not having a go at you personally, we all have our views and mine differs from yours.
Yes we have had a good season, not a great one, but a good one, and yes Harry has done a good job, but the wounds are raw and the anger at such an inept performance is too recent.
I will still be there on Wednesday night however and what a great chance we have to bounce back, and I can assure you that I won't be leaving early!!!!

This just isn't true. They should have beaten us at Fratton and they beat Liverpool there. They have some quality and got lucky. That's just football.
we all love our club through good and bad m8, im 42 so iv seen plenty of both. unfortunately i wasnt at the game but watched on the telly but a few of my friends were and the stories they were saying....... things like fans were taking their shirts off and throwing them away. calling harry a cnut and that was while at 0-0. one of my m8s even witnessed our fans fighting with each other. thats not acceptable in my eyes....all in all it sounds like the fans were very poor yesterday as i couldnt even hear them sing.

Perhaps its with the fact that they put 10 men behind the ball for 120 minutes and we got caught with a very unlucky slip and tap in, a penno that never was and a dissallowed goal you bet your arm would have been given if we were wearing red or Blue and had Samsung or AIG as our sponsor! They are rubbish and thats why they are bottom of the league, lets not kid ourselves. The fact is we were worse than them yesterday, imagine the CL next year if we play like that against Barcelona! Rip, New and A-hole springs to mind!!!!
They got lucky and if they think they stand a chance of winning the cup they will have a rude awakening. Unlike us the Chavs actually have a striker who can score goals.

Yeh, fair enough mate, you are a similar age to me, so as you say, we have seen it all before.
I have heard the stories of our fans fighting between themselves, totally unacceptable imo.

i left when the pen was awarded - last thing i wanted to do was stay and see the portsmouth fans (who were great by the way) celebrating. still didn't get home until 9pm though - just in time to see westwood f#ck it up
Fishman tbh just let everyone let out their anger and disappointment if anything is out of order its because of those two reasons and who wouldn't be.
As a supporter you have a right to be angry and disappointed don' take that away from us lol I see your points but we need more than 24 hours to get over this mate.
