good game but unlucky
bad pitch
bad ref
perfect weather
birds on pitch distracted our players from better performance
bad form lately
i think its bad form lately and of course the birds...
I'll choose none of the above and go with:
Resilient Pompey.
I hate to say it, but I've got to give those guys credit...despite the shit they are going through they stayed at it and won the game today...its about time this was said I think. Sure, I believe it was our game to take...but props to Pompey for not letting that happen...
oh and all that other stuff about the ref, pitch, etc.

the gods of football wasnt on our side today mate.....simple as that!
My favourite spurs player!
LOL, people watching the TV noticed the pidgeons? Was it mentioned by the commentators?
Anyway, they weren't that much of a distraction for players...

well the FA cup is the only thing Pompey is playing for. they prepared for weeks just for this game and they played with their hearts. Since they dont care about the league anymore their just giving 0% week in week out. And for instance they gave 110% today

the birds were just against us today, that was unlucky...
every action we tryed to make they were obstructing...
Good point!
Psychologically, the Pompeys had nothing to lose...so they gave it their all. This was the ONE game they've been looking forward to since administration. Spurs have other distractions...then again, when you're paid £40K a week - you're paid to give 110%...maybe we're not paying out players, enough?![]()

That blind idiot of a ref got Palacios suspended for NOTHING!!!
The stupid slippery pitch cost Dawson the goal and got Huddlestone booked for nothing. He slipped which made him hit the Portsmouth player.
I bet that if Chelsea lose, they'll complain to the FA and THEN the pitch will be re-done!
Or SAF will and then it'll be completely re-turfed!
A JOKE!
Reporter: "What is it like to score against the best team in the world [Barcelona]?".
Jake Livermore: "Score against the best team in the world??? I play for them [TOTTENHAM]."
Does anyone know if there is any way possible for us to appeal to get that card lifted? I know we can for reds, is it also true for yellows? The replay clearly shows that Wilson got the ball. I just would hate to see him suspended for that. I really hope this can be fixed. Really quite poor by Wiley. That is all i'll say...I hate being the one who blames the ref.
