Today we lost CL + FA cup!

I think today we didnt only lose the FA Cup to a club which I dont even need to lose words for!

We lost CL as well! With man city beating birmingham city today and having 4 points in front of us and us having to play arsenal which now is as good as lost with palacios being out cuz of his stupid yellow card and the game vs chelsea will be even harder than the one of arsenal.

Then an away game to manchester!

But if we end up 5-6 its still a okayish season I guess.

If u knew something about football then you know that palacios and fabregas are different players.

With palacios our midfield owns and falls at the same time depending if hes here or not
But maybe you havent watched us before we signed palacios.

To just tell you something about palacios. Hes a tackler and gives a lot of agression to the team. While fabregas is there for the creative play and arsenal have a lot of players for their creative play not only fabregas thats bullshit to compare these 2 players.

We have a lot of players for creative play as well but if palacios is out we lack the defensive midfield position which wins balls and adds agression to the team.

With palacios out and us playing over 120 minutes vs a club that is going to 2nd league and LOSING to them wont boost our moral for this game I can assure you that.

And not being able to beat them for ages in the league doesnt give a lot of hope to me certainly not after such a hard game where our players gave everything they had.

I would loveeeee to be proven wrong on wednesday believe me.

I simply stated that Palacios missing equals Fabregas missing as Palacios is as important to our team as Fabregas is to Arsenal, granted because of 100% different reasons, but nevertheless, my point stands. We will miss Palacios as much as they will miss Fabregas.

Yes agree with thug re 5th or 6th being better than last season of course, but there really is something very fundamentally wrong with the 'keeper goes for ball and misses it then falls over near an opposing player automatically invalidates the subsequent goal' rule...what the feck is that about? we've fallen foul of it with our national side for too many world cups and it's still blighting our domestic leagues...i can put up with an average performance, for the arbitrary slipping on a crap pitch, even the grey area of penalty decisions, but for heaven's sake where did it become gospel that if a player jumps to head the ball and the goalie leaps at him, misses and ends up in a heap on the floor, that ANY goal scored immediately afterwards is automatically ruled out? I don't get it....it makes it all completely pointless...for any club....it negates all training and skill and everything else....it makes any football match and therefore the sporting content pointless if there are completely random rules that are randomly applied....you may as well decide a match on a casino wheel...

Arsenal have A LOT OF creative players not only fabregas
Arsenal have A LOT OF players who can win balls like diaby or song.

Tottenham have A LOT OF creative players not only modric
Tottenham have ONLY 1 player who can win balls like palacios.

and if that player is missing it will be a huge difference and it balances NOTHING out with them having fabregas missing.

If we have then we have, Its not the end of the world. I think if we keep all our players together and sort out the problem with our 2 injury prone center backs, Get a decent striker in as Gudjohnson might be off and with a fully fit squad we can compete with anyone.

Dont forget there is still a small matter of a NLD midweek and Citeh have a hard run of games coming up to. Its not over untill its mathamatically over which is not by far.

He is important but he adds something to the creative play nothing to the defence.

If he played in barca the only difference would be that barca would of won 6-2 instead of 4-1 cuz fabregas would of scored a goal but they would of conceded 2 more

I will just put it down to the fact that you are angry after the match mate, it's all cool.

But its not like Ibra and Gallas. The only reason I said Pal/Fab is because I believe that Palacios and Fabregas are the most important players for each team, that is just my view and my opinion. If you disagree fine, but don't start telling me I don't know anything about football just because you are having a bit of a sulk because we lost and because it wasn't just me that disagreed with your opening post.
