Our Under-18s hit Coventry for six as they returned to Premier Academy League action on Saturday after an impressive display in the Dallas Cup.
The lads returned to the UK on Tuesday after reaching the semi-finals of the Dallas Cup in America last week.
It didn't take them long to click back into gear as they were 2-0 up in 15 minutes and 4-0 up at half-time before running out 6-2 winners.
Coventry must be sick of the sight of Alex Inglethorpe's team after they were hammered 8-1 at Spurs Lodge earlier in the season.
Paul Jose M'poku (pictured) got the ball rolling in the 10th minute, Kudus Oyenuga made it 2-0, Harry Kane added the third and M'poku made it 4-0 before the break.
Under-16 player Laste Dombaxe scored after coming off the bench for 5-0 in the 70th minute and Kane converted from a corner to make it 6-0 five minutes later.
To their credit, Coventry kept plugginga way and were rewarded with two goals in the final 10 minutes for the final 6-2 scoreline.
We'll have coach Alex's thoughts tomorrow...
Spurs U18s:
Archer; Bartram (Tapping, 65), Byrne, Durojaiye, Francis-Angol (Dombaxe, 50); M'poku, Carroll, Nicholson, Pritchard; Kane; Oyenuga (Jack, 70).
