I'm working on the principle that everyone who is going to Wembley today is either already on their way (like THFCire) or just about to set off for The Green Man, where many of the forum faithful are meeting (like ParkLaneMal).

So, of those of us who are left, how will the day pan out for you?

      Are you watching alone?
      With family/friends?
      Or in a pub?
Do you have any pre-semi-final rituals?
Do you eat/drink during the game, or does this affect your concentration?
Do you shout at the TV or watch quietly?
Will you answer the phone/doorbell, if it rings during the match?

I'm about to begin my routine of a pre-match soak in the bath (it works for me!). I have to watch the game alone, if I'm at home - mainly because I don't know any local Spurs fans and I couldn't possibly watch with a supporter of another team.

There will be a collection of drinks and 'nibbles' (savoury snacks and plenty of chocolate) on hand. But, if we were to go a goal behind, the eating would cease, until we equalised!

Aside from a few "come on" and "nice ball" kind of remarks, I will remain reasonably quiet, until we score (or they score). Then, the volume gets turned up!

My 'Sometimes Significant Other', who lives in Amsterdam, has a habit of phoning, just before kick off and sometimes at half time. It irritates me a bit, but I always end up talking to him. So, unless the number on 'Caller Display' is his, I won't answer the phone and definitely won't answer the doorbell.

Now, is this just me - or does anyone else behave bizzarely before a big game?

I've been waiting a long time for this moment, Brum. I thought they'd never leave us 2 alone. Maybe we can erm watch the football in the bedroom?

i'm always nervous every time spurs are on telly, it doesn't matter who they are playing, i try to walk away at times when it gets too much but there is always that love for the team that means you can't, even though you can't bear to watch you have to

i can't stick seeing the other team with the ball, creating chances or corners/free-kicks in dangerous areas, it makes me really nervous, even if we are 3 up i am still bricking it, it's not the teams fault, it is just i have seen spurs fall flat on their face so many times i can't get out of that stereotype, the city game in 2004 when spurs blew a 3 goal lead terrifies me that it will happen again

I should be about. My efforts to source a ticket failed dismally.

I doubt I'll be on here though as I tend to watch our games standing up and hopping from foot to foot like I need the toilet...

I will most likely be watching alone. Unfortunately, although i get to watch all 38 EPL games on TV, I have to rely on streams for the FA Cup as this competition is exclusive to Malta's other TV provider. I will be glued to the monitor today. I highly doubt I'll get any phone calls or anyone will ring the bell during the game, so I doubt that will be a problem. I'll probably have a wee snack during the game too.

As for any pre-game rituals....may I join you in the bath?

You're welcome, Cmon, as long as you're tiny!

I will be watching in my preferred bar in Bangkok, despite what you may see on the news the 'locals' only tend to kill each other so it's pretty safe.

The game kicks off here at 11.00pm so many beers (whisky-coke to be honest) will have been drunk, I will have two or three of my favorite bar-girls around me who will be ruthlessly exploiting my excitement by getting as many drinks out of me as they can. They will be cheering on Spurs on the basis that if we win I spend twice as much and may even "bar fine" them if I can still stand up.

The evening will be very loud with me kicking and heading every ball, if it's a close game my nerves will be shot to bits .... but WHEN we win it will be bloody marvelous .....

Woody I was with some mates watching in a bar in Tenerife or Gran Canaria (cant remember) when that citeh game was on, a guy walked in he was a yid and kept coming in and out until the end. Im not sure but I think he walked into the sea and was never seen again haha only joking.

As for me Brum, today I will go to visit my mother and watch the game there with my brother most likely.

well i am stuck at work today which blows. the game also happens to be on the other soccer channel that my cable provider does not carry. so i have a friend of mine recording the game (he's a manure fan). so at about kick-off i will hop off this forum so i don't know what will happen. I have a hockey league final game at 5:15 (i'm on eastern time) so hopefully if we win after partiing it up some for winning our finals then i can make it to my friend's place to watch Spurs getting a semi-final win.

      Sexiest Spurs Fan!!!
