As many off you know .... tonight Real Madrid lost 2-0 too the outstanding Barce.
And well at the end of the game a Barcelona Player did something which if any of our players would do i would want him out. Barcelona's new CM covering Xavi lately. busquets a great looking player and someone i have already would like to see at spurs one day. Well he did the sins of all sins. He swapped shirts with Raul.
Now lets be honest that is the equivilent of Huddlestone swapping shirt with Fabregas!! If i was a Barce fan i would kick of as this team is you biggest rivals and your player has just swapped shirts with who you would think is the scummiest player ever.... So what is your opinion?
YOU HAVE TO EARN MY RESPECT HERE, I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THESE SO-CALLED SPURS FANS !!! IF I TALK TO YOU I MIGHT ACTUALLY LIKE YOU AND RESPECT THAT YOUR A TRUE YID!! IF I THINK YOUR NOT , DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF I INSULT YOU, YOU DIRTY SCRUBBY FAKE YID !! ..... COYS !!!
It would be an Honour to Swap shirts with a Legend like Raúl.
Before the match they where discussing about how each club has respect for eachother, really different than us and Arsenal. They treat their rivalries different out there but as I say, I wouldn't think twice about swapping with Raúl, maybe thats because he's my idle .

Hes a young lad, hes spanish, they won anway, and raul is a spanish legend. If i was a barca fan i would not give two shits as they've just won their most important game of the season. Unless he started parading in it like a fashionn catwalk then that would be a different story. Plus it cant happen with us and the arseholes, they dont have anyone worthy of even tying rauls boots never mind any (english) legends.

raul may be from madrid but busquets grew up watching him and he is one of the best strikers in spains history so there is much respect. barcelona and madrid are rivals but there is a mutual respect of eachother, they are so different but neither would be as great as they were without the other. the rivalry with madrid and barca is very political so comparing it to spurs vs arse is not a good comparison, i would compare it to two generals who meet eachother before a battle, they do not choose to fight the war, their country's leader must make the decision but they respect eachother as opponents. that is the respect between barca and real i believe, for the players
I thoroughly enjoyed that game last night, much more than I'd enjoyed watching Chelsea and Villa earlier.
Right from the start, when the teams lined up to shake hands, I loved the fact that these deadly rivals, who are competing for the League title, still remembered that, in spite of the enormity of the game they were about to play, the opposition consisted of players they have grown up with, in the national team and are probably friends with. There weren't just cursory handshakes - there were embraces! It wasn't soppiness, because they then entered the field of play and went hell for leather at each other, for the next 90 minutes. And, at the end, there were embraces again (and shirt swapping).
In my opinion, that was sportsmanship of the highest calibre.

well since it is raul's last el classico i think any barca player would want his shirt in the last el classico he ever played in, he is a living legend and i think barcelona players recognise that

its called SPORTMANSHIP - when you appreciate and acknowledge the qualities of your opponent at the end of a game/battle....
i can't believe you actually saw a wonderful game of football - and the only thing u saw to bother login on and writing about was two players showing respect....clown...and like an idiot I actually read it.
I'd have no problem with Thud swapping with Fabregas; two great players there. And if we'd just won two nothing I wouldn't even notice as I'd be lying on the floor giggling like an infant.![]()
Stupid thread IMO Nundy. Many (including myself) see this as the biggest derby in World Football because of the history that comes with it. But that doesn't mean to say you can't show respect to one another.
I for one would not care less if Huddlestone swapped shirts with Fibreglass. A player is not a club.
"You score goals as a kid. Then you grow up stupid and become a goalkeeper."
I.M.O I would not want to see my players even touching my rivals top even if it wasnt the main rivals and it was the best player in the world. Even if we won 2-0 i wouldnt want to see my team swapping shirts with any of the london clubs , chelsea ,scum , west ham , fulham. This is just my opinion.
Henry was the equivalent of Raul at arsenal and if Henry was there still , although i know he is world class wouldnt want to see my team swapping shirts with him..... in my opinion ....![]()

Reporter: "What is it like to score against the best team in the world [Barcelona]?".
Jake Livermore: "Score against the best team in the world??? I play for them [TOTTENHAM]."
Can you imagine The Hudd in Fabregas' shirt? A ickle tight
