So I don't know about you guys, but I have been watching the London derby (as far as I'm concerned, only the Arsenal-Spurs game has the right to be called hence) as long as I have watched the el clasico. I have to admit, I watch the london game out of loyalty and the el clasico out of a lust for the entertainment.
Back in the day, I used to support the Galacticos, Zidane has been a long time favorite of mine, his ability to run the midfield and his amazing dribbling and control has long mesmerized me while drinking at a bar. He never loses the ball. That is his hall mark, and he is very graceful to watch.
Then came little Ronnie who basically became Nike's poster boy, the ole commercial showed the world how the elastico could be used to fool players. No one believed it could be done in a real match until Ronnie went on to do it over and over and over ..... He turned the tide to Barce and started the current dominance of the Nou Camp side.
Then we see history repeat itself, a team of galacticos again. But hang on, this time, Barcelona is not bending over. They have a much better team and little Messi is on hot form.
I know all the talk about going for fourth spot, but honestly you would be mad to miss this game. The best players in the world are playing, everywhere you look. Midfield you have Xabi Alonso and Xavi. On the wings you have Messi and Ronaldo. Up front you have Ibrahimovic and ... erm. ... higuain? But I digress. ... make no mistakes about it, this game is all about Ronaldo and Messi. These two have been running a silent feud for years, mostly due to Ronaldo's need to win everything and be noticed as the best. Messi on the other hand does not seem to care much. He turns up to collect his world players award last year in faded jeans I think, he sat down in a sofa much too large for him and just grinned while Ronaldo sat beside him pissed off. Imagine how wayne bridge would look like if you forced him to sit next to John terry and take some photos while his ex wife posed in her undies.
Anyways, I think Messi is going to tear Real apart, Ronaldo is going to try too hard and alienate his team mates and in the end, the TEAM always wins. Real madrid with all their great players are not a team. I have seen it often. I go for a Barcelona win, and an entertainment fest!

i have a soft spot for barca because of the way they play the game and the fact they produce world class players through their academy, names like fabregas, puyol, xavi, iniesta, reina, arteta, pique, valdes, dos santos, garcia, bojan and de la pena have all came through the barca academy, also in the past they have produced great players like amor, ferrer and guardiola
they rarely go out and spend fortunes on overpriced talent the way madrid do, madrid are billions in debt but because the spanish government back them they are exempt from dissolving while other poor clubs have to, the nou camp is a stunning stadium, so to is the bernabeau, but barca are my team and i hope they win against real and win the league and european cup double, they deserve it

Support Barca in Spain due to the history regarding the civil-war, not going to go into further political detail.
The 6-2 last season was the most dominating result in El Classico. Anything that sees Barca not loosing will favour them, as La Liga goes on head-to-head results before goal difference takes an affect.
