Not sure how much more of this 4th talk I can handle.... I want it sooo bad it actually hurts and can't help but get over excited every week as results seem to always go our way. This causes an unbelievable urge to gloat which I seem to be doing more and more which at the moment is getting right up the noses of villa and gooner mates......... lol I cant help it. I have taken my fair share of stick over the years when we flatter to decieve just to throw it all away with 2006 being a prime example.
At the beggining of practicly every season since then I seem to shout my mouth off about us finishing higher than the scum and occasionally placing wagers which is costing me fortunes to be honest lol......... and its not even like Im being dilusional I actually do believe we have a better squad than they do and on paper I think we are the 3rd best team in the league.......
Which leads to my point.... I feel like they are going to let me down again causing me to fall flat on my face and I dont think I could handle the stick I will recieve if we do.... I know its my own doing for talking so much but I can't help it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont f*ck this up.......

As a life-long Spurs supporter, I'm more than used to my dreams of Tottenham success fading into the horizon as the season draws to an end.
But a funny thing has happened since Harry took over.
We've simply got better & better.
There's a resiliance to the team which simply wasn't there before and as key players drop-out through injury their replacements step-up and perform outstandingly well when they've been given the chance.
During the second half of this season, when you would normally expect the bubble to burst, Harry has actually increased the performance of the team so that we're now winning two points per match on average.
We've just equalled our all-time Premier League record of five consecutive wins and we've got a sporting chance of making it six at Sunderland next weekend.
And then there's the FA Cup Semi-Final to look forward to at Wembley a week later against a Portsmouth side which we have every chance of beating.
I don't want to look further than that at the moment but if I were a United, Chelsea or Squatters fan, I certainly wouldn't relish the prospect of facing Spurs at the moment in the form we're in, especially if my title hopes depended on it.

And all this without our star man for half the season...... its scary to think where we would be had Lennon been around embarrasing full backs all season! Would Utd be where they are with Rooney out for half a season? Saying that we really need him back for the tough games ahead....... to be honest really not that fussed about the FA Cup, it would be nice dont get me wrong but the Champions League is the priority by far. He needs to be resting players in the semi's in preperation for Ar5ena1 in my opinion.

The funny thing about Lennon being out is that Spurs have somehow managed to have a better record without him in the team this season than we had when he was playing...
...not that I wouldn't want Lennon to start ever game for us, you understand, it's just that we've coped remarkably well during his absence.
In fact, looking at just this season's Premier League matches there's almost no difference in the average points won per match either with Lennon in the team or without him.
This, I feel, simply underlines the point I was making earlier about how well the team has performed this season when faced with the loss of key players to injury.
To be fair that doesn't quite tell the full story with Lennon we lost 5..... which included two away defeats against utd and one away defeat against Chelsea.....
Without him we have lost 3 but haven't played utd or chelsea....... yet.
I get ur point just sayin we miss his pace badly. he's an outlet and with Huds ability to pick a pass he's a constant threat to the opposition defence even when they are attacking.

Before the Blackburn game, Redknapp said that we needed 19 points to secure 4th. 3 games on, we now only need 10 - which is 3 wins and a draw. We need to pick up at least a point against Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd (Away) and Man City (Away)
TBH because of the all injuries we"ve had, we"ve done brilliantly to keep this run going, and we have to get as many of the squad back as is possible to see us through to the finishing line.
The three games against Arse, Chelski and Man U wont be very productive for us I think, but the rest of the fixtures weve got to get as many wins as possible
I believe we need to keep PAV fit , because its vital to have a goalscorer in form, and of course if Lennon and the others get fit that would be even better.
with all our injuries this sechson we have done gr8..manlads r inured which was hard but we coped, and the absence of lennon&bae made a new stars rise which are bale and bentley,we dont lack pace we have bale but if we had bale and lennon it would be gr8,i wish he comes back with the matches of the top 3
Every injury we've had has actually worked out for us IMO.
Modric injured we bought krancjar.
bae injured, welcome back bale.
Ledley and woody injured, step up Dawson and bassong.
Lennon out? brap, brap bentley starjumps in.
Defoe out, eidur know who'll replace him.
Crouch crap? pav well in.
Corluka injured, kyler walkers his way into the lineup.
Palacios tweaked, kaboul somehow holds his own.
we're different this season. Even if we don't make it, and it'll hurt because of how close it's been, most of us didn't hope for anything more than 5-7th this season. I'm still proud of the boys for being top of the league the first 4games, never falling lower than 7th, and mathematically still in touch for the title.
but most of all, to the best fans in the league, home or away. For making villa park, craven cottage, and all those away games sounding like the lane. For cheering pav even when he was only warming up, to give him that drive to perform, if not for harry then for us. For backing gomes through his dodgy games til he is the rock he is now.
you lot are the best fans in football. Nothing can take that away from us. come on you spurs.
Wel do it this year i think weve got the run on the others imo, everyone is playing catch up to us so if we just continue to gain points then its ours, yes those 3 games that everyone keeps banging on about are mega but i reckon wel beat the scum, get a point at least v chavs but get fook all at OT, City away we always do so well up there unbeaten infact so lets keep beleiving lads!
stroud_jm (28-03-2010)
what yidno1 said. I think we can do it.
We have a tough run in and so do City. But despite injuries, etc we have our fate in our own hands. We have only ourselves to blame or thank for our finish. (unless Howard Webb or somebody fooks us of course)
That's really all you can ask for. Gonna be an eventful few weeks.
well i am just praying to the football gods, we have such a tough run in- 4 of the top 5 to play. i aint scared of anyone at home now tbh but it is still gonna be tough. by rights when we play citeh scum they should be chasing and needing it soooooo bad that they could make some huge mistakes and we will pounce (hopefully)
it is better to fail aiming high, than to succeed aiming low,
and we spurs fans have set our sites very high,
so high in fact that even failure will have in it
an echo of glory.
I have full confidence we will bring the FA Cup home and qualify for CL football. Why shouldn't we? Yeah we have a lot of injuries but people are stepping up and playing some seriously good football.
We've played some tough games this season, which we thought we would lose. We came bouncing back and grabbed all 3 points (Stoke at the Britannia for example) Why shouldn't we beat the chavs and the scum? We have a proven track record at the lane and on our day we can beat any team.
To be honest, I think there's nothing stopping us taking the full 9 points in those games, for sure it won't be easy, but we seem to be hitting form right now, which is the perfect time, giving that the race for top 4 is so damn tight this season. City, Villa and the Scouse are dropping points, while we are picking up three points.
Maybe this is a bit "to soon" but, anyone fancy a last minute race for third and hit the scum into fourth?![]()
