went to the lane last week against blackburn, sat in the park lane, surrounded by people who have never been to a spurs match in there life, spent 10 mins explaining what the chant yid army means to the couple next to me,i dont mind but these people will never go again, and just make it harder for the true supporter to get tickets.
have you got someone else using your computer on here mate?
spur supporter money is the same no matter who pays it. i don't get the whole "makes it harder for true supporter". if i never hoped on this forum i would have never known what Yid Army was. its just not something said here in the states and could be other parts as well.
Idiot. That is all.
I don't think there's a definition of 'true' supporter. This is why you don't ever see posts challenging individuals' level of support for Spurs because it's all equal.
Reporter: "What is it like to score against the best team in the world [Barcelona]?".
Jake Livermore: "Score against the best team in the world??? I play for them [TOTTENHAM]."
I refer you to a previous thread that said there were a lot of USA yids at the Blackburn game.
lol
WE'RE THE PARK LANE
WE ARE N17
I dont mind if they are there to truely support the team and are 100% spurs!
What i cant stand is the corporate sandwich brigade that have no interest supporting the team! They take up tickets and it makes me sooooooo ANGRY!!!!
Ive been offered tickets for cup finals loads of times and will never ever go as its not my team and i would only be taking up a space that a true supporter could of had.
Ok it will only go to someone else but i dont go out of principle.
My favourite spurs player!
A few years ago I had never even heard of Tottenham Hotspur, and once I had the only I remembered them initially because I thought it was funny that their logo was a chicken on a ball.
Now I watch nearly every game on TV or online, and spend a fair amount of time on here. I've still never gotten to attend a game seeing as I live almost 4,000 mile from White Hart Lane, but believe me I would love to.
I admit I don't have nearly the history of supporting the club as many of you, but I bet I am cheering just as hard for them as anyone else. Long story short, every supporter has to start somewhere so new people need to be embraced and encouraged to become a 'true supporter'. If other people treat them poorly they might never comeback, or even worse find their way to the Emirates or the Bridge next time they want to catch a match instead.

The true supporters?!?!
Feck off thats bullshit. It was my first game at the lane for a few years and I consider myself to be just as much as a fan as any season ticket holder. FFS.
The "TRUE" supporters that go every week didn't show up because it was "only" Blackburn meaning more tickets were placed on General Sale, which is why people that can't usually get hold of tickets managed to for this game.
Seriously, these people that are lucky enough to go to games and have the financial ability to attend really need need to stop looking down at others.
We are all Yids, the end.
Super Harry Redknapp,
He wears a magic hat,
He couldn't fly to Anfield
So turned into a cat!

partially true, some people you see at whl have no idea what theyre talking about.
I've always had such mixed feelings on this one.
I do hate it that you get those that are only going because it is a free ticket and they will get wine and dined for the afternoon. Quite often they have no interest in either team playing and sometimes no interest in the game. And you get those who use it as a marketing tool to get clients. And you only see them sat in their seats for the middle 20mins of each half, the rest of the time they are propping up the bar and all you can see on tv is loads of empty seats (Wembley and the Emirates being the two worst).
BUT
These corporations pay absolutely s**t loads for that privilege. Their "season tickets" run into many many thousands of pounds. Even tens of thousands of pounds. Not only is it great for the club as the mark-up must be substantial, but it seriously brings down the costs of individual "normal" tickets for everyday Joe's like me and you who may not be able to afford to go to every game. IIRC the price of a Wembley ticket would be 1/3 higher if it were not for the prawn-sarni brigade.

Good call, Park Lane Yiddo! To consider THFC as a sort of charitable non-profit making glee club is naive. If you've got the money and the opportunity, you get a ticket. If you think that long standing faithful supporters should get preferential treatment, then aim your comments at the board....they hold the purse-strings!....Spurs is a business! We are the customers! But is the customer always right?
