Bale accused of diving

After the game Salgado said Bale was taking dives when running circles around him down the flank during the game this past weekend. This doesn't make much sense as if he was diving he would have been carded by Webb for such. Salgado should focus on his defense and his (poorly timed) tackles rather than trying to brand Bale as that of C Ronaldo.

I'm surprised Salgado wasn't corkscrewed into the ground by the end of the match. Bale made him look, erm...very bad.

To be fait Bale does simulate, just watch when Salgado trips for the penalty that should have been, no way anyone can say that he didn't add to it. I've known he's a bit of a diver but he's so good it's hard to care!

Bale made Salgado look like the mug that he is. My blood is still boiling about Howard Webb's anti Spurs bias....But that's another thread. Looking on the positive side, I am so pleased with Bale's improvement in form....let's hope he stays fit.

evan if it was a dive which i dont think it was when i was young mt coach always told me if it looks like you are going to get falled in the box go down and 99 per cent of the time the ref will give it thats what every player in that situation will do, bale had every right to go down in the box the didnt think it was a dive if he did he woulkd have booked him

I coach lads to stay on their feet as much as posible and try to score.

If its a fould and yo go down you cant score, and are at the mercy of the officials to decide if it was a fould or not.

We are all aware of how moody the Prem refs are so the further you go down the leagues the moodier they get.

Try to stay on your feet son and get a shot off.
