Just watched the blackburn game, and was just thinking about the players more than the players not on the pitch. This got me thinking of how good our squad is.
Over the years we've had some big talents. But never really had good over all team. Then I see the likes of Wilson, BAE and Bassong all playing really well and I think its the 1st time I've not worried about the players missing.
I'm not bemoaning the loss of Lennon as Bale taken that on the otherside, I not looking at the back thinking I wish Woody or Ledley was in it. For the 1st time in the 20 odd yrs since I've supported the club I can't find a bad player(not including Jenas). We now have a good all round squad.

Our squad is good but we totally lack defensive midfield players.
Hudd is out and jenas it useless even if he is fit.
So when hudd is injured modric can take over the position with palacios.
But if palacios gets another yellow card then we have a BIG BIG BIG problem.
Super Tottenham! The Football World Is OURS!
Yeh think that ill been the main position that gets sorted in the summer
Cant wait till Lennon is back, happy days for our forwards with ammunition down the righht from Lennon and down the left from Bale, happy days.
It's a measure of our strength in depth that Spurs can be without six full England internationals and still win Premier League matches.
its funny how allmost all the injured players are the english ones. - a goalie.
I cant wait for lennon on the right and bale on the left.
Lennon on the right and Bale on the left will be pure sex!
Anyone know when Lennon will be back?
Great little post fella.
I said before that we had been hoodwinked by the pundits and reporters when they were banging on about our big quality squad as it wasn't the case at all.
However it may be time for me to order some take out from the humble pie shop.
The lads I questioned and rightly so on their performances were the likes of Hud, Bale, Bently, Pava, Daws etc.
They are players who all had that WHL tag of "potential".
Trouble is that over the years we have squandered these potential players and effectively stifled their progression.
Now it seems that these lads have pulled their fingers out and proved me wrong and the likes of Keown, Dixon, Lineker(legend) and Mark (Stupid tash and a boring ******) Lawrenson right.
Anyone got the number for a take out pie shop?
AGREED. It is great we still have such quality players with all those injured. Every time someone gets hurt, another player who has been limited to the bench steps up big time. Now with Keano back banging in goals in the SPL we could, if need be, sell him for a decent amount of money as well as Jenas so we can buy another quality holding midfielder (Sandro, Fellani, etc.). We have a very big squad and though I didn't think it would work out for us at the start of the season all of our players are now coming good.
The lads played some very good football today. Went to sleep for a few mins in the second half but got a good result. With many core players out injured, it just proves how far we have progressed under Our Arry.
Bassong has the presence of a King in waiting. The lad has that calm demeanour and has a great understanding with Daws and Gomes.
Bale was again absolutely outstanding.
Great depth of Squad
WE'RE THE PARK LANE
WE ARE N17
Is reason for all this are not only the players.
They always had the potential.
Its the manager Harry for making them great.
Harry is the best english manager!!! I really cant believe some people around here doubted him!
He made modric, kranjcar, lennon, bale, dawson, bae into amazing players
Also with harry defoe is having the form of his life scoring wise and now he was pushing pav like hell as well and look what he has been producing the past weeks.
Same goes for gomes! He turned him around and fans love him now and he is one of the best in the premier league.
One word for the manager.
Class.

This is something I don't feel we have really had in the past: the ability of players to step up when others go out injured. Today was the epitome of this fact this season. Bale was incredible, Bassong played great in King's absence, and guys all around the pitch are stepping up and playing well in the absence of many of our starters.
Harry has to feel good about this side. For me, there is just something special about the way we have come together this season. All of the elements are there and we are right in the thick of the race for fourth. I can only imagine where we would sit had we been healthy all year. Unfortunately, injuries are part of the game and it is all about how you deal with them that decides your fate. Luckily, Spurs have dealt with their injuries brilliantly and that is why we are in the position we are.
<------ Arsene Wenger
for most of this season our players got inuured and many came out, how Bentley turned out to be great n how bale is doing an amazing job, i think we hav alot of potential which is a good thing we so i think maybe harry should give the players on the bench some time on the pitch they need to play some premier leage footbaalll for example lets get one of the young medfieldrs on, coz we knw eventully palacios is going to get the card so we have to think...i think were a team with gr8 players n the young ones have potential we should use them
