Jimmy Greaves: He's England's most prolific (and funniest) goalscorer, but now he prefers to watching rugby and cricket | Mail Online
I would love to see Greavsie back at the Lane and do a half time interview.

Big up yourself Jimmy G, a true yiddo in every sense of the term.
Current squad take a leaf out of this guys book!
Happy Birhday Jimmy, you were my boyhood hero.
My footballing hero when I was a kid.
The guy is so funny and down to earth. Bring back Saints and Greavsie lol
Every Spurs player should be made to read Jimmy's autobiography 'Greavsie' before they put the Shirt on.

Absolute legend!
There was a time when Greaves didn't want anything to do with Spurs, due to his shabby treatment by the club not so long ago.
Happilly, things are much better these days and I'd love to see Greaves become more involved with the club... and get his long overdue and thoroughly deserved induction into the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame.
We had Greavsie for our Yorkshire / Nothern Spurs sportsmans dinner a few years ago, and he was quality, didn't drink but smoked like a trooper.
Said he doesn't go at all to WHL as they don't treat their past players with any dignity or respect, although there are a lot of the ex players who host the prawn sandwich brigade on match days.
Told a few tales, and when it came to the question and answer session, he was asked who was the best club he played for and his answer was of course the Spurs, which really he didn't have a choice in saying otherwise he would have been lynched by 120 spurs fans.
happy birthday greavsie. a legend.
YouTube - SAINT AND GREAVSIE (16th March 1991)
