Tottenham were fourth in the Premier League until the end of last month but a run of six games that have produced just one win, three draws and only three goals has seen them drop to sixth.
"If you'd said at the start of the year we'd be where we are, and still in the Cup, I think everyone would have said 'fantastic'," said Redknapp. "We can still make the Champions League, make no mistakes.
"But there's no guarantee and if you don't do it it's 'oh, what's happened here?' Think where they were. They were bottom of the League after eight games last year.
"We've still got a great chance of making the Champions League and I'm delighted with how we've done, fantastic. We've played some great football.
"I think we've got as good a chance as any. It's going to be hard but if you look up there it's tight. Man City couldn't beat 10-man Stoke the other day and were lucky to get a draw, " added Redknapp.
"We've got goalscorers; you'd expect us to score goals. We just need one or two others to weigh in with a goal or two. Others are slipping but we're not taking advantage of their slip-ups. Everybody is struggling to get a win and it's hard."
Spurs beat Wigan 9-1 in November and Redknapp will turn to Jermain Defoe to come close to the form that produced five goals in that game. He is still without Aaron Lennon (groin) but Roman Pavlyuchenko could feature.

I wish people would stop talking about the "2 points from 8 games" thing. Any manager could have taken Spurs to safety. We had a strong squad of players and only a totally incompetent manager would have failed. It wasnt a miracle Harry pulled off, he just did his job, no more no less.
And how can he claim that weve played good football? We just play the longball to Crouch, whats good about that? It looked promising in the beginning of the season when Keane and Defoe were partners, but ever since Crouch became first choice its been predictable and boring.
Harry out!
COYS!!!
Im not sure shouting from the rooftops ala Arry style is the best approach especially with our "sensitive" squad of players who"s morale is delicate to say the least, maybe its his way of instilling confidence in them.
Now is the test for Arry to see if he can restore the "squad" back to the form of the first half of the season, that"s what interests me.
The man is fast becoming a joke figure by constantly coming out with crap like this, how many more times is he going to beat the top 4 drum ffs.
Just get the team playing you muppet and stop with the 'big I am' talk you twat!
Arry needs to be careful, he was always tellings us when he came here we had 2 points from 8 games. This year we have 1 win in 6 games so far.

The 2 points in 8 games thing is wearing extremely thin with me now, i know some will use this argument at the slightest sign of disagreement with fans and Harry but like another said any competant manager with that squad would have pulled us around.
I will judge Harry at the end of the season however.
i agree he harps on with the same sh1t every time but i want harry here for a good while, we need to have a consistent manager which we haven't had since bloody venables and we cant throw this one away just because of a few bad results
harry in, 1000%
