There have been a total of 68 penalties awarded in Premier League matches so far during season 2009-10.
Of those 68 penalties, 53 have been successfully converted into goals, a 78% conversion rate.
Here are the statistics for all 20 Premier League clubs...

wow, we're not bottom :o)
Four current and former Tottenham players missed this season (out of 15) - 40%
Think WHL is a penalty taker's curse
I'm interested how Burnley have been awarded 5, scored 4 but missed 0!![]()
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
Just realised I never got round to updating this.
Oh well... better late than never...
Here's a table of Premier League penalties awarded during season 2009-10...
Spurs were awarded 3 penalties last season (2 at home, 1 away) of which 2 were converted successfully.
We conceded 9 penalties - the join highest with Burnley and Portsmouth, who were both relegated.
Home teams were awarded almost twice the number of penalties away teams were.

Spurs and penalties just don't go well together. We concede too many (thanks BAE and Bassong) and we don't convert nearly enough of the ones we are awarded.

Robbie even missed one for his country this week !!
Any stats on which individuals have conceded the most penalties?
