iv been having a debate with my m8 ( who's a leeds fan btw ) for weeks now and i said id be happy with the cup rather than 4th this season. he disagrees and says top 4 gives yuou more revenue blah blah blah.
i say footballs all about winning silverware blah blah blah
what say ye ....
top 4.... this club can't be a mid-table club all its life... we need champions league football... even if we don't get very far... we can still brag about being in the champions league... plus the extra revenue would be nice... extra publicity etc... new breed of players would be interested in coming to the lane..
But winning the FA cup would be great.. wish we could try to do both
No brainer. 4th will attract new players, give us CL football not a one off game, ie cup final) and will give european football and extra finances.
And we will be able to see out beloved Spurs more often on tv.
Being a realist I go for the FA Cup this season. I honestly don't feel we are quite there yet to be a top 4 finisher but the FA Cup is a good possibility.

It's a sad, and damning indictment of the world of football today, but it would have to be top four. Just goes to show much of what is wrong in the game these days, when finishing fourth carries a bigger prize than winning the FA Cup.

the only way spurs can attract top quality players are by finishing in the top 4,liverpool dont deserve it this season.Its either villa,shity or the spurs who deserve it.Pompy won the cup and look where they are..

i agree 100 % mate.with our long history and great record in the fa cup,it breaks my heart to see what it has become.id still love us to win it and id be as proud as punch if we did,but top 4 would be the one that would be better for the club,in attracting players and revenue.It's a sad, and damning indictment of the world of football today, but it would have to be top four.
