After the last few games we have all seen our side perform 'below par'. Sometimes I can't help but think if Harry had done something else tactically or fielded a better team we'd we much higher up the table.
For example that day he decided to not use any substitutes and came up with the excuses 'They were all good on the pitch and I couldn't find anyone to take off'.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but even if you put on a new full back he'd have fresh legs and could may be make a few overlapping runs and link up play..may be we could have scored... or put on a new midfielder..he'd have fresh legs and who knows... etc etc.. Also that day he fielding Eidur and Kaboul and made a host of changes in a must win game...
Furthermore his handling of the Pavlyuchenko saga has annoyed many supporters who see Redknapp as having favourites on the pitch who can't play themselves. Yet week in week out there they are on the pitch.
Why do they have a right to be in the line-up? For example Jenas & Crouch. Moreover he seems to taunt Pav by saying 'he's a terrific player'. But yet he still does not play him (fine he's had injuries but even when he's on the bench). To rub salt in the wound he is blocking Pav's exit...
Harry also does not like playing youngsters. Fine, we are pushing for a top four place but the likes of Kyle Naughton & Dos Santos never got the chance to play and that is sad. Most teams like to give youngsters a good run but Spurs never do. Furthermore he recalls Kyle Walker (when he was doing so well and playing many games) knowing he was going to buy Kaboul. So now Kyle Walker has to suffer and sit on the bench.
Unlike other managers Harry does not seem to have the 'get-up-and-go' ... We want to see him shouting at his players on the touchline.... giving them instructions..this will help build up there confidence on the pitch and put them in there place. But all he does is sit there with a sad sorry face. Joe Jordan does all the leg work. Look @ Mancini and O'Neil...they are always there giving instructions...assessing the situation... players need instructions or they will play wrong the whole game.. why wait until half time when we are not winning to make the point?
Harry needs to change tactics. No long ball Crouch any more. Yes, he is a good weapon but we need change. It's annoying to see the ball being hoofed up there and the opposition claiming the ball.
Give Pav a few games to prove his worth to the team. He cannot perform and worse than if Jenas was on the pitch can he?
We need a master tactician and I don't think Harry likes change... he's an 'old school' manager... may be a new tactics coach should come to the lane...
I still have faith in Harry btw...Don't get me wrong the guy has worked miracles since he came to WHL. I thank him for that and I am a big fan of his..but sometimes like others it is very annoying to see basic errors he makes week in week out yet nobody questions this (apart from commentators). Not to mention his January dealings were truly awful (waiting of Eidur to prove me wrong).
Your thoughts guys?

I really can't blame him for anything other than not dropping Crouch after he failed to score sitters several games in a row. We're burdened with injuries all the time and he's getting a lot out of the team. We've lost more games due to poor player decisions (penalties, reds) than due to Harry's decisions.
The time to evaluate the season is at the end of it so don't get your panties in a bunch, still a lot of games to play...

Well I think your gonna get pelters and lots of em, so beware !
I think that what harry has done so far for the club has been fantastic. We are finaly in a better position than when Jol got given the boot as we have a stronger squad and the league is alot more open.
there is no point in buying players in the transfer window that we dont need. harry obviously knows how to get the best out of players, you only need to look at bale and bentley to know that.
In recent games, we have played well, well enough to win, but just not had the luck to go with that. admittedly we have had a few poor games, but every team goes through a rough patch
Keep the faith

Don't worry that's why I asked for peoples thoughts. I still have faith in him but the tactics side / team selection is rather annoying right?

He mainly annoys me by just sitting on his a$$ and does nothing he does not have to shout to sound angry if he is angry at something or someone I want him to get up walk around and give the boys the talk whenever they need it, giving instructions or what not but he does not due that and lack of communication between manager and player on match day is a MUST!
But as I said before even tho there are still a lot of games left to me he cannot take us any further I HOPE he proves me WRONG.

Yep I agree with this post. Like I said... if he gets up once in a while and shows his authority then the team should buckle down and get to work. Communication is everything. People need to know where they stand!
Don't leave it to Clive Allen or Joe Jordan or Mr Bond to do your work.. the manager needs to be seen... even if he gets up and waves his hands a little I'd be a little happier lol...![]()
I see the only reason for not playing Pav in Harry's mind is to give Crouchy a shot at the world cup. Obviously Crouch is Redknapp's favourite but with South Africa looming he is giving JD and Crouch play time together in the hope of influencing Capello? I think JD is a defo for the WC but can we say the same of Crouch? At the moment I don't think he is.

like i said in another post, this is the biggest club harry has managed and for him its a learning curve. hes proved to be very good at man management but not the best tactically. if we can get a good tactition as his no2 next season then i can see us being more consistent. i honestly dont think we need to be buying a lot more players, and im sure harry knows that so lets give him a couple of more seasons b4 being his judge n jury
Why would 'Arry play Crouch to make him a front runner for the World Cup? I suppose it might increase his resale value, if he had a good tournament....But surely he wouldn't select him if he thought it was to the detriment of the Spurs side?
No! I reckon it's just poor judgement.
