Other teams fans on a Tottenham forum....

Ok let me start by saying I welcome anyone to our message board with open arms, that being said I have to get this off my chest.

I have yet to see a fan of another club come on here for any other purpose than to, A. Rub it in that they beat us B. Talk badly about the team/Harry and administration or C.Try and start a flame war.

In all honesty I myself would see no other reason to join another teams forum and go through all the effort of signing up, why would I?

It makes no sense, but maybe im just too black and white and maybe there are people who want genuine discussion.

All im saying is I shall be following the non-spurs fans and if I see you only ever post to run us down then expect me to be displeased and not hold back.

If you are here to enjoy our company and discuss football then welcome and this does not apply to you.

but if not then expect me to defend my team at whatever cost, Thats all I have to say on the matter.

We have seen quiet a few supporters from opponents on this forum and they have been very respectful and even wished us luck on our travels. The latest was a Leeds supporter.
I welcome them, even those interlopers from south of the river. As long as they respect those members of this forum. Or else Riverwire will

Im glad to hear it and I feel the same like I said I haven't seen another fan on here yet not trying to cause trouble but if they are on here like you say then im more than happy for them to be on here.

The Charlton guy who used to pop on here was alright albeit a tad gangsta-ish but yeah most who come on here do so just to take the piss.

I never understood the menatality of other 'fans' joining to comment on our team/performances even if its constructive!

The Leeds supporter (something white or white somethin) was diamond...he said that he enjoyed both FA Cup matches. I would agree, people like that, should always be welcomed.

Though, I have my doubts with scum fans. I question whether supporters of a rival team will be able to contribute to this forum constructively. But as you say, we have mods, the gaffa and a pimp to sort these people out...

Justin - I think that's why I like you because we think a like. Grown-up & mature people wouldn't not join up to an opposing team;s forum - work/family commitments etc. There are however immature people with too much time that will.

We have to be a bit careful here , I have gone onto other forums after being invited by posters on here . We actually compile questions for other teams so we cant have double standards . They are welcome as long as they abide by the rules .

One forum that are cool are the Delilah forum of Stoke . They were very decent I didn't get any abuse whatsoever and they gave us their own set of questions to answer .

Also a few of us guys have been invited to a drink up with their guys that i spoke to in the away friendly pub . You cant get nicer than that .

But I would say that I found it a bit hard to stomach that when the scum were having early season strife - we didn't hear a peep from them . Now they are back on track and we are having a dip they wont let anything go .

But what else do expect from filth..................??

Justin if you ain't seen them then you must have ya eyes closed.

The reason they don't appear to you is because they don't behave lick d1cks and cause any conflict.

All fans, bumbashers (goons) or not are welcome.

I love seeing the differing views of the opposition fans and thoroughly enjoy the harmless banter (and not so harmless at times) with them.

IMO its a huge part of what makes this forum as good as it is.

I agree though that joining a forum just to get up the noses of someone else is soooo lame its untrue.

I mean wtf is the point. What type of cyber gratification do you get out of it. I escapes me totally and tbh I would think less of anyone if they did act in that childish manner.

I would also add to that that if their childish antics were in any way attributed to this forum I would also feel utterly humiliated and embarrassed for them and for US.

WE have built our selves a cracking little forum here with a great community of colorfull characters who are vastly knowledgeable and ever helpfull in a multitude of situations.

Lets keep it growing and getting better and better instead of turning it into another crappy football site with closed doors to anyone that doesn't belong to our clique.

We have all been to them and know how dull they are in comparison.

As said before I work with a Gooner, and apart from his POOR choice of Footy team, he's an all round nice guy with whom i have a great banter, AND he's happy to swap shifts so we can see the mighty Spurs

Today he was quite happy to get tickets and joins us at the Lane - in the South Stand - he was unsure about going to the Gilpin beforehand tho'

Yes I do get flak when they beat us, but the Chelsum and Foolham and Maure fans give me it worst - so to all who knock other fans coming on here

its a double standard mate. it sucks i know because i'm sure as i have that you have been on the other side of that coin. its all fun and games when you make fun of yourself but there are lines that other people can't cross when making fun of you. same goes with your team. I know there are comments that other supporters have said that if they were said by anyone else on this forum we would just take it as constructive criticism. however coming from your hated rival then it just sounds and feels like an attack.
