So i was browsing my twitter when i found jenas on it, i clicked it and his latest tweet was,

Loves being at spurs but needs to get a place in that first team! Jan could be intresting!

What are your thaughts about that? Looks like he wants out.

He's got a tough job getting in the starting outfield 10. Not a defensive player so that rules out the back 4 plus the 2 at the center of midfield. Not a striker so that rules out the front 2 leaving just wide left or right, let me think JJ or Lennon, Modric, Kranjcar?

If we play a lone striker he can play in the 'hole' but again so can Modric amd Keano.

As a substitute he offers a good midfield attacking option, in games where we need a goal bringing JJ on to replace a defensive player is certainly an option.

But starting 11 I don't think so. If he wants to go then there will be a lot of teams after him, nobody else has our attacking midfield options and JJ would get a start in most PL teams. If he wants to stay and be part of the success in my opinion he is still a good squad player and we should keep him.

If it is indeed him as I was under the impression that after the bent saga they were banned from doing this type of sh1t.

I hope he is though. We could get 8ish mill for him but he would do well somewhere else as many other under peformers in our squad would.

To be honest.. I think that its fake.. he says too much stuff which footballers don't say. It's like talking to the press all the time. Too easy to mess up and make a small comment into a controversial headline in The Sun!!

Jenas is ok if we need to inject some pace up front , but he leaves gaping holes when it goes wrong . I dont want a massive change to the squad we have in January , as too much meddling will bring confusion . 2 in 2 out would be about right .

I think that twitter thing is a fake/joke so take no notice of that . As P-UNIT said - since the barron dent incident the players and management wont risk another embarrassment .

Agree that JJ is a good midfield attacking option. We needed him in the Wolves game, to run at their defence through the midfield. But he was out injured, if I'm correct.

Jenas is a great squad player. Not many clubs can bring on players like JJ off their bench. Just a shame that if it is really Jenas' twitter page that he is thinking of himself rather than the clubs greater good.
