Is it just me or can anyone else see the similarities between Tom and Wilson . The more games they play together the more comparisons i can see . Cant be a bad thing i suppose.
Edgar Davids came to us and turned our sheep into lions . That battle attitude rubs off on those that see the advantage of muscleing or powering when your not fast enough . Sometimes you have to drop a bit of your flair for a bit of muck and bullits .
hope your not basing the evidence on yesterdays game, both had great performances but the opposition forgot to turn up, when we played the teams above us both struggled against top class opponents, Tom is still learning his game, Wilson is a good compliment to him and they work well together
Good shout . Hopefully it will stick wit him in the long run .
arry clearly rates him above jenas, and rightly so. I wonder if he plans to go after Muntari in the window, that would liven things up!!
Toms a work in progress. He will take time to reach his potenial but he has come on alot this season and on the whole has deserved his place in the team. I think he may even be the most capped player for us this season.
Him and Palacios work very well together, I can't see Jenas getting in ahead of him at any point.
Basing it on Blackburn away and City at home actually , and i think they both should have played against Fulham . Why Jenas got the nod after two previous wins and clean sheets baffled me . But Harry is the manager , and the way Fulham played he may have made the right decision .
not sure tom would have been much use against fulham, they were very mobile, any team that fizzes the ball around he cant play against. keep up the good work
I agree that Wilson is having a massive effect on Tom, teaching him to knock sh1te out of the oppostion when neccesary which is something that was sadly missing from Toms game and for such a big lad not to be able to put it about was a crying shame, however I do feel that it was'nt so much thw opposition not turning up yesterday but the fact that once their general Scott Parker went off it gave the space for Tom to strut his stuff.
Swannydownthelane.....great times,great memories
Come On You SPURS
and Tom does like to strut his stuff!!
Anything or anyone that gets Jenarse out of the team/club/country is a good good thing. Hudd will be England captain one day, he is that good.
Lennon is almost unstopable at the moment, he just gets better and better, and the way that Tom finds him with those cross field balls is just
unbeleivable.
We are getting belief in ourselves now, and with a bit more consistiency,
top 4 should be a reality this season. Cherry on the cake, anyone up for a trip to wembley this may?
as long as we dont pull Man U away dont why we shouldnt take our turn
Its been said so many times before that he does shine against lesser teams but fails to show up against the sky 4.
I will take my hat off to him for his increased work rate and growing consistency but he has a long long way to go before we start batting word about like world class, top draw or even first name on the team sheet.
We buy an established Prem midfield maestro and he will be dropped to the bench to only appear against the Wigan's of the world quicker than a quick thing.
he is definitely a better player this year, but arry seems to trust him a bit more and does put him in to games that last year he wouldn't have. The likely hood of a premiership midfield maestro dropping in to our laps is remote and to be fair, there aren't to many that would fit into the squad, ok you'd take gerrard and lampard on frees!!! but who else?
Mascerano
Parker
I'd takem em both.
