Modric set to return to Spurs squad
Tottenham's Luka Modric is set to return to the squad for Saturday's game with Wolves, his manager Harry Redknapp saying: "he'll be involved".
Modric: Will be involved on Saturday
The home game against Wolves will be the Croatian's first since his recovery from a fractured fibula he suffered while playing against Birmingham earlier in the campaign.
"It's a bit early to start him but he'll be involved against Wolves," said boss Redknapp.
The Spurs boss has also played down suggestions of a rift with midfielder David Bentley after reports of a training-ground bust-up.
"Part of it happened, a very small part of it," he said.
"It was nothing really. David is here and has trained hard this week, he's available for the game."

Boy did we miss him...imagine the type of goals he could have created at the Villa, Man Utd & Everton games...

In Friday's press conference at Spurs Lodge, Harry said: "Luka came through the reserve game and he was fine, which is good for us.
"It's good to have him back and available again. It's a bit early to start him at the moment but he'll be involved on Saturday.
"He's a great player and one you obviously miss. We're lucky Niko [Kranjcar] has come in for us and played so well in that position during his absence and I could see them both playing in the same team at some point.
"But we need Luka back because he opens doors, he sees a pass or makes a dribble that causes the opposition problems - he's a super player."
What does that mean? Does harry plan with both kranjcar + modric in a team then ?![]()
I feel sorry for Wolves![]()
"You score goals as a kid. Then you grow up stupid and become a goalkeeper."
I noticed that in that club report in the last paragraph that Wilson Pallacios could also feature against Wolves, so more good news.

yep even greater news but as long as he can play vs man city it will do.
Should be able to beat wolves without palacios.
I would have a go with Lennon jenas huddlestone and Kranjcar in midfield
Up front I would go for keane and defoe
then at minute 65 minute I would put I would put in Gio for defoe after he scored the hattrick and let gio and keane play the rest.
at minute 75 I would put in modric and put jenas out and play with lennon kranjcar huddlestone and modric in midfield the last 15 minutes.
Or put kranjcar out and modric in for him to rest kranjcar for the important game vs city.
I would so love to join u mate! Next year I'm planning to come over to the lane for a spurs game with some friends! Hopefully to CL football as I've never been to the lane so far. (Not from england)
Else I would probably be at every single home game! LIFTING THE ROOF!
I'm sure you guys will lift the roof when modric comes back![]()
yeah that too me states that Modric will be in. will have to wait till sunday to watch it as i will be in Columbus. having a friend record the game since i don't have setanta.
I'm sure it does, he's seen enough of Niko in a Spurs shirt and the guy has settled in well, this could be an awsome pairing don't you think?
