I'v just been watching England under 21s on the FA website and our own Danny Rose has had excellent first half and scored his first 21s goal.

Rose is yet another excellent English propect at Spurs.
At least one team in the prem is trying to bring through good young talent, and I'm really proud that its us.

Everyone has to be pulling for Rose. He could really balance out the squad if he were to get to the position where he could be a first teamer.

I'd like him to break in, but question is when??? especially if we sign a wide left player this summer...I reckon he'll be in the team in about 2 seasons.

That would be the time table I'd look at as well. Cole or Bellemy would be winding down at that point. Only signing that would stiffle his growth would be Turan but I don't think many people would be disappointed with that addition.

Also what about Gio in that pecking order?? Heard hes going to be used at bait for us to buy Djalo or sent there on loan....guess ill have to see how Djalo does next sunday but Danny has a lot of competition so I'd like to see him go out on loan to a prem side, ie newcastle or blackpool.

I'd like to see Gio loaned to another premier league squad and then decide his potential. We are in a good position financially so I'd rather see us lose out on a few million if his value drops then miss out on a future star if we sell him now.

Agree, if we dont sign Cole than I'd like to see him stay with us for the season.

dont see Rode ever being a permanent player in the first team. Even when he scored agaisnt arsenal(best goal all year) thats all he done he would of been lucky to make 5 paases. Just dont see him being more than a championship player. So at this moment in tike for me he is nowhere near go enough

Gareth Bale has proved himself at LW whereas Rose has had little chance to. I've seen Rose in pre-season play and he's looked good...play him off as a sub and see how he develops TBH...

Rose is still very young and may well be decent.

I keep banging on about it but he has bags of pace and he doesnt need to be the best technical player to beat his man.

Pace is undefendable unless you have it in equal or greater measures.

I honestly think that Harry just needs to give him games. The confidence he'll get from it will make him a better player. Perfect example, is young Albrighton at Villa. Same age as Rose and he has only just got capped for the U21 national side where as Rose has been a regular for a while now, but Kevin Mcdonald has shown faith in him this year and the two performances i've seen of him (West Ham at home last Saturday and Rapid Vienna yesterday.) he looks brilliant.
