I couldnt make it to the Everton game had to work - I understand Bentley was 'maybe' back to his best, am I right ??
I hope so![]()
His cross for Hudds is a positive sign. The press are saying that his performance last night merits a starting position this Saturday...
Bentley new or the New Bentley PLM.......Hope the latter Yid
WE'RE THE PARK LANE
WE ARE N17
Hi Mick, I was there and the boy did good..very good without doubt in my opinion the man of the match, chased after everything, good with his crosses( crossed for Hud to score ) never forgot his defensive duties so all and all yes back to his best. I reckon the penny has finally dropped and whatever is going on with Lennon he knows he has the cance to impress.
PS. also good to see GB doing so well last night, a very solid game![]()
Swannydownthelane.....great times,great memories

MOTM in The Sun
I was at the game and it was all me and dad could talk about , deffinitely MOTM i said that in a post in the early hours of this morning .
Yep ParkLaneMal - the post is a play on words me old yid !!
Bentley did OK today as well. He was not brilliant & came up a little bit short on occasions but then what can you expect from someone who has played just 5 minutes of Premiership football up until now & is suddenly dropped in with a start at the Emirates?
What I was impressed with was his workrate today. People have been critical of him in the past over this but he definitely did not shirk his defensive responsibilities today & him & Charlie totally nullified the threat of Arshavin. Had we had similar commitment on our left side, we might have actually done a bit better.
His attitude was definitely noticeably improved. He wasn't prancing around the pitch at all but was getting stuck in & scrapped for everything, despite it not always coming off for him. Also, it was good to see his free-kick hit the target. We should have had another from virtually the same spot a second after also & I really think that he might've scored if we had got it, having already found his range.
Crossing still wasn't as good as we know he can be, but it was definitely a lot better. I really hope that this means he can get a few more games under his belt. Against a lesser team, & with his own teammates showing a little more fire in their bellies, he could prove a real asset once again.
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
