His performances since returning have been sub par to say the least.
barring his 4 goal rout against the capitulating Burnley his return has been a paltry 1 in 4.
Not just that his all round contribution has been poor and his sloppiness in possession has been frustrating to say the least.
In fact for club and country this season he has only hit the back of the net in 3 games out of 13.
This is our inspirational captain?
Crouch and Defoe for me, every time.
Agree to an extent
The fact remains that the best thing about having him back was the £8m we made on the deal
Actually it will be good to have a look at Robbie's stats. i have always thought him a bit wasteful, but i like the amount of effort (not always pretty or neat) that he put into games
I've posted lots on this subject and it now seems to gathering momentum, the fact is either RK finds his form and stops whinging or goes to Celtic or wherever
Swannydownthelane.....great times,great memories
Come On You SPURS
Five goals in 10 premier league games is a good record. So what if it's four against Burnley. If he was really rubbish, he would have scored none. Give him a chance guys. He's only been with us since last January. Lets have this debate in January 2010 once he completes a full 12 months.
I'd say - keep the faith...
WE'RE THE PARK LANE
WE ARE N17
I never wanted him back.
Glad that he came as he inspired our side to drag their useless arses out of the relegeation zone.
Modric for captain IMO.
But its not just goals that he does ( or doesn't do as some think). He drops back more, passes out to the wings, creates space for the other striker. Sure.. he hasn't found his form since he left us, but he hasn't had Berbatov next to him has he..
Same old PSB in my opinion, Ive not seen nearly as much of the trackin back and link play as some of u seem to have
Not nearly contributing enough to be a nailed on starter, nor captain as far as Im concerned - should barely be keepin Pav out of the team (I wonder how many Pav would've got with Keano's mins under his belt?)
Good finish from him tonight, albeit a poor penalty to begin with. he was under the pressure, with the ball dropping over his shoulder at pace & he slammed it into the roof of the net on the volley. So what if he was barely a yard out, he was not directly in front of the goal & it could easily have skewed wide
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS
i havent seen the penalty miss but if he scored from a yard out after the keeper parried, im not going to be singing his praises. defoe is nailed on as starting, its up to the other 3 to fight for that place. crouch looks the best bet for me. he gives us something different. all 3 have proved effective with defoe, so its really not all that bad a position for spurs fans.
Can't smile without you
something just doesnt seem right with keano at the minute....
missing his bulgarian bum chum i reckon!
Oh - you want me to watch my mouth, how?
Take my ****in eyeballs out, and turn em around?
The refs giving Keane no quarter because he asks for everything - even when he's wrong . The whining and finger wagging has to stop and the goals have to come . He will go to Celtic and Brown and Mc Geady will come to us = I'm sure of it now .
