Does anyone know when Luca will be fit? he was only meant to be out for 6 weeks
He went back into training this past week but he felt a twinge in his leg, showing that he wasn't fully healed yet. I think he's a long shot for the Stoke game this weekend but I'm hoping he'll be back in time for the Arsenal game the week after.
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
Dont need to be rushed, he is too important to be out any longer.
Yes agree UNIT we have cover so take no chances .
Everyone wants to see him back asap (game against the gooners) but the last thing we want is for him to be rushed back to early, and a player as important to us as luca is i cant see the medical staff letting that happen. As mentioned we have good cover and its good for niko to get a run in the team and start to gel with the other players we have.
It could be longer than expected
Sky Sports | Football News | Premier League | Tottenham Hotspur | Modric return some way off
but P Unit is right, we don't need to rush him back.....
Hope he gets back soon ...

I reckon give him three weeks & he should be strong enough to get back to business & drive the team forward and onward . brilliant news
3 weeks? His leg is healed. I would expect him to be at least challenging for a 1st team game in half that time. Its excellent news & we could even see him make a cameo in the Arsenal game imo.
Gio must surely be back soon also. His injury feels like ages ago now

I heard there was complications with Modric's leg = he couldn't put weight on it when asked !!!!
'Arry has already ruled him out for Saturday, not a good idea to rush a player back from a broken leg, it's as much mental as physical rebuilding his confidence. My guess would be not match fit for another month.

I'd guess at least 2 weeks, seems to me they usually do light training followed by full training then a reserve team match if the timeframe allows.
I'm no medical expert but from my own personal experiences as a player and with coaching players who have been injured, it's not so much reinjuring the bone that you worry about, but suffering a injury somewhere else in the leg due to overcompensation or lack of flexibility from being out so long- lots of times guys with this and similar injuries will come back and hurt a calf muscle first time out, that type of thing...
I'd love to see him back ASAP, but sincerely hope we give him the time he needs...
Well, his leg may be taking time to heal - but the rest of him would appear to be in fine working order!
Croatian newspaper Vecernji List reported this week that Luka and his girlfriend Vanja are expecting their first child. Luka has not yet confirmed or denied the rumour, but Vanja was photographed, leaving a private gynacology clinic in Zagreb.
Little Luka, to be a dad? He still looks like a kid himself!!
Nevertheless, congratulations to the parents to be!![]()
