Since Harry Redknapp has came in, everyone was wishing that Jenas would be changed, but recently from Harry playing him in centre with Palacios, are we seeing the new Jenas that we have been waiting oh so long for?

This was his 1 game a month mate.

Nah not a sniff for me.

If he satrts doing it week in and out he will be wearing an England shirt ahead of Lampard very very soon.

      But he wont..........

Jenas has the ability but shows it so rarely.
Something of a luxury in too many games!
Much prefer to see Modric used in the centre alongside Palacios!

Yes during a game he will make a sloppy pass but watch his game in more detail and you will see he has a great footballing brain. So much revolves around and comes through JJ, that, yes, he will misjudge a pass but he is central to Arry's game plan.
After the Villa game Woody game out on Sky and said what a brilliant game JJ had and that says a lot to me.
He is a big part of our current squad and arry has now settled for a starting line up that includes JJ so get behind JJ and stop wanting to sell him. He is part of a winning team..........at last.

You can't slate Jenas lately. I agree he doesn't always play well and i've actually no idea why he tends to get lazy sometimes but he has more ability than anyone in our team if he plays properly. I think he's played well recently and like ParkLaneMal said, the stuff which he does good does go unnoticed. Just like Senna in the last Euro Cup, he played absolutely amazing but wasn't merited just because he has a defensive role and wasn't bagging goals. Just look at Modric, he's been given a free role and isn't getting enough goals in my opinion but now he's scored a good goal vs Chelsea everyone will be loving him for the next few weeks.

Lads agree to an extent with your sentiments about his recent recurgence in form but when we were in the brown stuff who was the laziest man on the park and who couldnt be arsed to turn up and put a shift in.

You cant argue with that as we all whitnessed his gutless peformances that were outstanding in a team of gutless peformances.

      Give me Tuncay please.

Jenas has definitely improved in the past couple of weeks and has built a good partnership with Palacios.

Out of the two I actually thought Palacios was the weaker link against Chelsea. He gave the ball away a number of times and was just sloppy in general. Still, I didn't want him taken off or anything as he is essential to how we play.

If we do sign a left winger (Downing) that will move Modric to the centre where Jenas currently plays. The question is whether Jenas will be happy to continue to be a squad player and mainly start on the bench. I would actually like to see Bostock make the move up and act as cover for Modric in the centre.

JJ has not improved as an individual, the team has. JJ is playing much the same, the link man.
How can you say Wilson was the weaker link against Chelski. The whole of the Lane was chanting his name during the game, he was that good.
Watch how we play until the end of the season before you decide who we sell or buy

couldn't agree more. AND he was vice-captain at the time.

Jermaine Jenas was a two games in ten player , but you have to wait and see if Harry has reined him in , and got him right . I know that when were in the sh!t /relegation zone with 2 points from 8 games he was lazy but you can't lay all of the blame at one players feet . It was all of the players that were losing - and Ramos playing 2 sometimes 3 players out of position was nothing short of a sick joke . It didn't start at the beginning of this season either - it started after we won the CC . whether it was player power trying to get rid of Comolli and Ramos , i dont think we will ever know the truth . But we are at a new dawn- its a new day- its a new life - and i'm feeling good .

sorry i couldn't resist it lol

Mate Hud has always been a lazy fat fook.

JJ is a seasoned pro and his attitude was attrocious. Worst of the lot by a long way.
