I'm not sure Didi will lose his place on JJ's performance today. Lets just hope he's a little rusty but he was not just short of his best, not even his inconsistent self but absolutely awful. Palacios was gettiing forward too & had a couple decent efforts, can see him & Didi playing alongside each other on occasions.

I'm really disappointed by JJ tho. I really hoped he'd been out for ages, he needed to prov himself after January speculation & losing the vice-captaincy & I thought he might just do it today, especially with his mate Robbie back with us. He was terrible! He kept on completely miss-hitting the ball, giving it away, selling people short . . . terrible. I would have put Didi on at half-time but I guess Harry knows JJ has been out for a while & wants him to have some match time.

Palacios might as well have been playing on his own in the centre of the field but he still compleetely ran tings! It was wonderful to see! He even packs a meam shot!.. I his 1st 2 games for us he's had at least 3 good efforts on target. I can't believe he's not scored in the Prem yet. It won't be long tho on that evidence.

It is so satisfying to think that we are no pushover in the middle of the park anymore. Awesome performance. To come from a smaller club like Wigan, effectively out of nowhere only a year ago, to a huge club like Spurs & actually up your gameplay to that level is hugely impressive. I bet Arsene was watching him thinking "why did I let him go? He's exactly what I need in my team" & that made it even more satisfying!

Now i'll admit i didn't know much about Palacios when we signed him......but what a Q U A L I T Y player he is. He won everything in midfield today and i can't remember the last player we had in the middle like that. The guy was just awesome

And considering the size of the bloke there ain't gonna be many players getting through him either!!!!
