I havent seen for a while comments about Corluka!
He is best player at the moment I think, yesterday he saved the goal, had a few shots at target , delivered a great ball to King! It's quite a contribution for DR! I never saw Harry had a word of praise for him I just can't believe that!
Charlie is fiting in well mate , with Ledders out for a bit i think he will cement his place .
Corluka has been doing great, really love the guy. What he does match in and out really makes up for this "pace" he lacks.
Yeah I agree shady, Harry talks about players to get a reaction from them and the ones that are playing well He tends to keep quiet about as they just need to carry on what they are doing.
Corluka has been superb since joining spurs, fitted in really well and had some very good games. His reading of the game is as good as anyones and he gets involved in the game as much as possible. He is very comfatable on the ball and never shys away from the ball. Im very happy with him.
yep, charlies quietly been playing well, superb block against pompey. hes still young and could yet turn out for spurs for years to come, along with modric.
I like him solid and dependable Charlies a top geezer
currently my fav player, calm and comfortable
Good defender. He knows how to attack too - it's very good!
today had to be his first bad game in a long time......my favourite player at tottenham dependable, calm, consistent, and in my opinion is the best passer on the team....complete defender
Hmmm! Good defender, yes. But sometimes, his attacking stops at the halfway line. I do love Charlie, but he really wasn't in sparkling form yesterday. Chimbonda came on and set up our two goals, with his agressive forward running. You don't often see Corluka that far up the pitch.
Interesting that so many of the Premiership players who took part in Euro 2008 aren't performing quite as well as last season or are having injury problems. Maybe tiredness and burn-out has something to do with it.
He likes to go forward. But he was obviously given instructions not to go forward too often. Afterall it was an away game. When loosing 2-0 all that you can do is push forward. Harry sent Chimbonda in, who was fresh btw, and ordered him to go forward. I don`t believe it has something to do with Charlie himself.
I dont want Charlie up there out of position.
He hasnt got pace to burn and he is quality doing what he does best, tidying up and playing out nice and calm.
One of our best buys. He always looks to cool and calm. I never fret when he is on the ball. If only we had the same on the left.
I feel he has great potential going forward.
Obviously Charlie and Modric have been good mates for a number of years, which is good for the team.
