Has been a tremendous player for our defense this season. Especially in the absence of King, and he's really cemented his place in our starting XI.

I think the move to Portsmouth really matured him as a player and got some valuable experience. I hope he continues to play well for us for the rest of the season and for years to come.

      And he is only 25!

If he eliminates the occasional concentration lapses from his game, which with age I'm sure he will, he will be right up there with the best centre backs in England if he isn't already.

They are more frequent when he doesn't have King alongside him so he'll have to learn how to still play at the top of his game when he isn't around, because as time goes on King's going to play less and less often.

But compared to the player he was the first time he was at the Lane, it's just unbelievable how much he's come on. When we resigned him I didn't understand it at all...but fair play to Harry for seeing the potential and obviously Younes himself for the hard work he has put in!

If you're trying to learn to play the position properly, you could do worse than training with Ledley King and William Gallas everyday. Kaboul has been brilliant this season, totally agree.

Totally agree, he's come on leaps and bounds this season, I have no idea who our starting CB's should be, Kaboul, Dawson, King, Gallas... Bassong... It's a great problem to have for sure.

More specifically, they're more frequent when Bassong is beside him because he has to undertake babysitting duties on top of his normal activities.

He is probably our most improved player this season.

Yep. Bale was our most improved player 09/10, Benny 10/11 and Younes is shaping up to be that this season. What I really like about him is that he offers something different to the standard hulking CB. He is fast and a good passer as well as being very comfortable with the ball at his feet. He can tackle, shepherd and step up to intercept and he's also very good in the air. The only real weakness he still has is that he is positionally suspect sometimes, particularly when the ball is coming in from the byline, rather from deep. I think that will come with age now.

If all our CBs were fit I would rate them in this order for starting (inc. Caulker):

      1) King
      2) Kaboul
      3) Gallas
      4) Caulker*
      5) Dawson
      6) Bassong

      * I've included Caulker above Dawson because I don't really think Daws has been in good form for over a year now and Caulker's looked very comfortable at Swansea. When it comes to it, I'd rather give the 19 year-old playing time to develop than the 27 year-old who isn't going to get any better.

Kaboom is a reminder of how wrong I can be.

I was against his signing and I think i might have even wrote it showed a lack of ambition by the club to bring him back.

Admitting i am wrong, Kaboom has grown into one of my favourite players in the club and i think reflects what Harry can do to a player. This guy is playing way above his own level, every game is a "personal best". He's fast, strong, getting smarter and smarter, wins EVERY header.... EVERY.... how many times does a goal kick get sent straight back up field. The guy is massive, but could almost give Lennon a race over 50 metres.

      KABOOM, pure YID.
