With his form for Man Utd this season being so amazing especially lately with his head some very interesting stats have come out.
In his last 9 games he has scored 8 headed goals but before this he had only scored 4 headed goals in his previous 342 appearances. This shows just how great his heading ability has increased. I for one hope he can continue his form just so that he takes it into the world cup for England and please God don't let him get injured.

Well Rooney is definitely filling the void that Ronaldo left.

Rooney's goalscoring form for both Manchester United and England have vastly improved since he stopped running around the pitch like a headless chicken and concentrated more on staying in the correct position about 18 months ago.

This is why he's scoring far more goals with his head - something that's hard to do when you're chasing down an opponent by your own corner flag.
