For some reason I have found Wilson's performances frustrating recently. I feel he is sometimes trying too do to much and giving the ball away in dangerous area's.
His passing doesn't seem up to scratch i think he needs to work on his technique a little bit. Also he make's some bad decisions. Always looking to make that 'killer' pass rather then the simple one.

Gee mate your hard to please! I thought he had a great game yesterday, he was here there and everywhere. He made some super tackles and some decent passes.
Sure a few went astray, but he more than makes up for it with his tackling and breaking up opposition attacks.
The man is a human dynamo and makes such a big difference to the midfield.
Passing is not what he is in the team to do. He had to yesterday after Tommy went down, and, as expected, didn't do all that well. However, his tackles yesterday were immense, some of the best he has made all year. He managed to stay out of the book, too. So would it be nice if his passes were better? Sure, but he gets paid to be a defensive midfielder and that's exactly what he did well yesterday.

There is a chance i am being overly critical. I just felt he made some great tackles to win the ball back. Only then to give it away with an awful misplaced pass. And yeah, I agree yesterday was one of his better games. However the simple 'unforced' errors have happened alot recently and it's only a matter of time before he starts costing us points.

you are 100% right. It is a fact that he made bad passes yesterday, that's certainly true. You may be being just a bit overly critical, but you haven't really said anything that is incorrect. Wilson is very hit or miss with his passing. When Hudd is missing there is a glaring hole in the passing department for sure.

as far as tackles n gettin the ball hes been amazin but for those long passes hes not havin a vesion..modric needs to train him a bit :P
i agree..when he win the ball he needs to make simple pass and not to try stupid things...he can always pass the ball to our back line...
100% Agreed. As much praise as Wilson gets for chasing down and winning the ball. He loses possesion more than any of our midfield and he seems to slow play down alot as he takes time to look for a pass. He needs to play short easy passes and quicker, if he does that he'll be perfect.
Hard to say that after the game today. Never really gave the ball away at all. Passes were fine. Tackles were to his usual standard.

i think willy has been unbelievable for us hes been the missing link what we have needed for years as for modric teaching him passing i think modrics passing has been pretty awful of late.
Our best player against Fulham, well him and gomes! Top top player that works so hard. So glad to have him at the lane.
My favourite spurs player!
It aint his job and not why he is first name on the team sheet if he is fit.
He needs someone to pass it for him.
Its his job to demoralise and smash the oposition.
Without repeating myself from earlier Willy is good at winning possession and breaking up attacks but I wish Arry would make him do that and then play a simple ball to whoever is close to him and build again.
As for yesterday I think we lacked the "edge" that we"ve shown in recent games which was due to the friendlies in midweek and how deep Fulham defended in conditions that didnt suit.
i believe wilson's best way to play is tackle, stealing the ball, and passing it to the closest teammate in attack. i've seen him playin for honduras national team and when he plays as a "10" he misses a lot of passes, but when he es the one in charge of stealing the ball (which i guess is his natural position in the field), he shows his best games. the most silent function in a team but sometimes the most important
willy played the pass of the game against blackburn (I think it was in the first half to bale??), dont forget that lads - and lasses. although i agree with you about him not being there to play hollywood balls, and mostly he fluffs them, i just thought i'd bring this up for a bit of a discussion.
