Jermain Defoe and Gareth Bale are both up for awards - and you can vote!

'JD' is on the shortlist for the PFA Fans' Award for February and up against the likes of Didier Drogba, Cesc Fabregas, Wayne Rooney and Richard Dunne.

Flying full-back Gareth is in the running for 'EON Player of the Round' for his performances against Bolton in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

A five-strong panel, which includes FA Cup hero, Ricky George, have nominated their candidates and Gareth is up against David James, Spurs team-mate but Pompey loanee Jamie O'Hara, Jussi Jaaskelainen and Darren Ambrose.

Just an update that Bale has won player of round 5 of the FA Cup so good on ya if you voted for him.

Gareth Bale has been named EON Player of the Round by the FA for his performances in our FA Cup fifth round encounters with Bolton.

The in-form Welsh full-back set-up Jermain Defoe's equaliser at the Reebok Stadium in the initial tie on February 14 and shone again in the replay when another raid down the left flank led to our third goal in the 4-0 win.*

Gareth polled an impressive 61 per cent of the votes with Crystal Palace's Darren Ambrose in second place.

Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, Pompey's David James and Gareth's Spurs team-mate Jamie O'Hara, on loan at Pompey, also on the shortlist.
