Jermain Defoe - who scored five goals in his last five appearances for the Three Lions in 2009 - Peter Crouch, Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Jenas and Tom Huddlestone are all listed.

I think because it's purely on England appearances in 2009 and the poser that is JJ did and Daws didn't, your right it should have been Daws and Like you voting for Lennon but there is always next time...simples

I voted for Lennon,beside his great year in Spurs he had a very good one in England NT-just remember how he kicked our Croatian arse on that right side at Wembley game (Bilić had to change players and formation after 30 mins of the game,but it was already to late)While looking on that list I couldn´t find anyone better then him over the last year.I suppose people will vote for Gerrard,Lampard or Rooney by default,but for unbiassed observer like me A.Lennon is withot any doubt eng. POY...
