Any Ajax fans here?
After some failing years we finally are back in the CL (Where we belong)
With 5 players who were in the final 4 of the WC (Stekelenburg, vd Wiel, De Zeeuw, Luis Suarez and Lodeiro) we are on the run to get the championship finally back in Amsterdam!
Our new topsigning El Hamdoui is an ex Spurs player just like Mido, Tainio and our coach Jol.
I'd love to go with you and say that we belong in the champions league but if I saw how much effort and luck we needed to get there you can reason if we belong in the champions league. don't get me wrong I really enjoyed playing Dinamo Kiev and my throat is still sore from that game but you have to admit there was some luck in the game. On the other had, we finally have some characters who will do everything to win. We lacked those characters in years before that (I have been at every CL qualifier we lost) so that is a win.
Judging by the history of Ajax and Tottenham, all Tottenham fans should technically be Ajax fans as well. So yes. How is Jol doing over there? He is great, isn't he?
He is great but the only thing i dont like is that he is always nagging and whining. He knew Ajax was almost broke and yet he is complaining that he couldn't get some decent new signings. But he let them play really good football.
Any young players from Ajax we should keep an eye out for? Also, why does the Amsterdam ArenA have a capital A as a last letter in "ArenA"?
I've been a fan of Ajax since the mid 90's. Loved watching those young stars coming through, they always seemed to have an ability to produce such talent. One of the reason's I'm so happy that Van der Vaart is here. I remember watching him years ago, thinking that it would be fantastic if Spurs signed him one day.
The capital at the end is because ArenA (the word) looks like the stadium. Bit weird tho.
And the young players are Bonevacia (who is a midfielder), Jozefzoon (right winger) Ouasim Bouy (plays in the youth team). And ofcourse the already familiar players like Alderweireld and Gregory vd Wiel.

Can we help your financial situation and give you 20 million for Suarez in January?
What's your take on the usual line of "its so easy to score in the Dutch league" because thats what everyone says regarding Suarez, Huntelaar, Alonso Alves. Do you feel that is the case or could Suarez especially make it in the Premier League? (Which I think he can)
Steven Caulker is the messiah!
I think he can. The difference with Suarez is that he creates most of the chances by himself, while Alves and Huntelaar were depending on passes from teammates. Also Suarez is scoring like a mad man but is also missing many chances ( most in 1 vs 1 situations ) He is also a more versatile player, he can play from the wing (Right and left) and he can play as a central striker.

If he leaves Ajax I hope he will come to WHL. Also you should keep an eye out for Eyong Enoh (Cameroon midfielder) He is the best signing of Marco van Basten as he was a free trial from our feeder club (Ajax Cape Town) He is so important for the balance of the team. Defending on midfield he is superb.
I am also a big fan of Enoh indeed. His game seems to be designed for premier league in my opinion. He wins every duel he gets into, he is fast and he always does something good when gains possesion (which he does a lot). Don't expect him to do briljant things like assists or goals though. Defending is his game. I you want to know how are stadium looks from the inside you can check this ones btw:
I made this one during the tifo moment before Ajax - Dinamo Kiev.
This is the second picture after we won, this is the F-Side lighting a flare and celebrating:
