A chance of Modric or Gio making a return for even a half? Pav and Keane to start up front? Bentley on the right to give Lennon a rest? Bale to start on the left? Hutton to get a run?

      I LOVE our depth

      Gomes
      Hutton - Dawson - Bassong - BAE
      Lennon - Palacios - Jenas - Bale
      Keane - Pav

Bentley on for Lennon at 55 mins.
If the result is pretty much concluded (such as one team being 2-0 up) could Gio and Modric be brought on at 70 mins top get some game time in their legs? Or are they still injured?

Dont see Pav gettin a nod after having straight up said he no longer has an interest in Spurs. I would like to see Bentley and Hutton both get the go. I thought Bentley looked especially good in the substitute performance v. Wigan. Kranky is in too good of form to leave out. Crouch also provides the necessary stability up top.

Kranjcar can't play..he played for portsmouth....and harry don't want Modric to play , he doesn't want to give chance to Fergie to even watch Modric

Niko Kranjcar is cup tied, played for Portsmouth in the 2nd round against Hereford and scored a goal. Like you I don't see Pav getting a nod unless Levy wants him in the shop window. David Bentley well worth a full game after his performance against Everton in the last round and his sub role v Wigan. Gio should be fit and would love him to play some part at least, it may be to early for Luka though.

Good call....didn't even think about it. Then throw Gio out there...he's healthy right? He's got great pace and has played well for Mexico.

It could be a nice surprise, not much coming out other than he trained with the youth team last week, be great just to see him on the bench.

The teams you've all posted are not near as good enough quality to beat Man Utd, let alone there fringe team.

I say we go in strongest as possibly:

      -------------Gomes-------------

      Corluka-Dawson-Bassong-BAE

      Lennon-Palacios-Hudd-Dos Santos

      --------Defoe-----Keane--------

Subs: Alnwick, Dervite, Hutton, Bale, Bentley, Jenas, Crouch

EDIT: Modric won't be playing for the first team for atleast 3 weeks, according to someone i know who works at Spurs Lodge

I can't see us winning this so might as well field our reserves and youths and rest our players for the big one against Everton

I can see us winning every game and expect us to, the only negative thought is after we lose...now going to lie down in a darkened room

Hey, just being realistic here...I'd rather Spurs focus on the league and not some second rate cup competition...

Nate mate, you are the most negative Spurs fan on these boards.

I'd rather take advantage of the fact we don't have to worry about travelling to Russia for Europa League match next week, and get another trip to Wembley under our belts.

If you don't think that our crop of players, who are in top, top form can't beat Macheda, Gibson, Rafeal etc then you can't think much of our CL prospects.
