Manchester United in the cup
Everton in the League
Our next game is the Quater final of the Carling Cup and the replay of last years final v Man U, I am hoping that we play some of the regulars like lennon, crouch, defoe, as i can thb see us win this game. I can imagine that man u will play a team full of youngsters, Rafael, macheda, welbeck. Its not going to be easy tho at old trafford, but i'm confident that we will come through as winners and book our selfs into the semi finals.
I would like us to win a cup this year Carling Cup or Fa cup i dont care we need a cup to go along with our CL spot
The game is on sky sports 1
I would love to win some silverware this season without a shadow of doubt, but in this poll I'd rather win a league game against Everton. Think it's about 30 million cash for Champs league football and sponsors, getting in CL is our main priority I think.
Never know, we could do well in both![]()
Obviously this is a chance for some of our squad players, Bentley, Gio, Pav should all get a start but apart from that it should be our best side and a strong bench.
A winning mentality and match fitness are very important .... players can just as soon get injured in training. To win at OT is never easy but for sure we should try ......

i know if i was harry id rather put spurs in a good position for a top 4 spot before the season really gets going than win a quarter final of a meaningless cup at old trafford that no one really cares about
it is a good opportunity to give the likes of naughton, rose, gds, bentley, pavlyuchenko, hutton, obika, bale, bostock and parrett a run out, recall a few guys from loan and give them some real experience
my team:
walker
hutton
dawson
bassong
naughton
bentley
bostock
parrett
bale
gds
pavlyuchenko
subs: jansson, king, rose, huddlestone, corluka, keane, obika

we need to keep winning in the league if we want to be up with and conpeting with the big guns it would be nice to win silverware but i would rather finish in the top 5 it would be a great achievement
Come on...we're doing well in the league...why spoil our chances of momentum through injury because first team players were fielded in a Carling Cup match? Let's field the reserves on Tuesday and focus on the game next week
I'm going to the manure game so I hope we win that, but give a rest to a couple of important players. I'm desperate to see us win at quiet trafford!!
Think we need to go for this. Not like we got Europe to worry about later on.
Gomes
Corluka
Bassong
Dawson
Bale
Bentley
Palacios
Jenas
Kranjcar
Keane
Defoe/Crouch
Maybe give Defoe a rest, as Im confident the others can do a job.

We can beat utd 2-1 but i think that arry should rest some players like lennon and jd play pav and robbie up front give gio a game aswell but i don't think that this game is big as the everton game we will always be in the carling cup but we could never ever get a better chance of finishing thrid Arsenal and Liverpool will never be this bad again and aston villa don't look like a side that will finish 4th and city are just blowing it aswell
niko cant play cup tied
I think HR will still play a very very strong team. I just think its a great chance to play some other players that haven't played that much. This keeps them fit & and it also gives them a chance to prove them selfs to Arry. I think its a balancing act that Arry's got to play but i would rest a few.
Gomes
Hutton
Bale
Dawson
Bassong
Bentley
Gio (if fit)
JJ
Hudd
Pav
Keano
I think this team gives you a bit of both!
My favourite spurs player!
Played (and scored!) for Portsmouth in that game:
