Team news
23 February 2010
Harry Redknapp will have a few players missing for Wednesday night's FA Cup replay against Bolton.
Ledley King (thigh), Aaron Lennon (groin) and Jermaine Jenas (groin) will sit it out alongside cup-tied pair Younes Kaboul and Kyle Walker.
Harry reported that winger Aaron had suffered a 'bit of a setback' on his road to recovery following fresh scans on his injured groin. "He's worked hard on the training ground every day, so it's the last thing he wanted," said Harry. "But he'll get on with it and I'm sure he'll come back as good as ever." Further specialist advice is being sought on how best to rehabilitate Aaron's injury.
Better news sees Benoit Assou-Ekotto back in full training after suffering a hip injury in December.
Longer-term injuries Carlo Cudicini (pelvis, wrist) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) remain out but again, there is good news as goalkeeper Carlo has started ball work this week.

Should be a good match tonight and one we can and should win. I no ekotto is back in training but the way Bale has been playing I think it's going to be very hard for him to false his way back into the team.

To be fair, Bale & Ekotto are two different players, as Bale as we know is more attacking minded and Ekotto is more defensive, and bale is a lot lot faster, I would defo stick with Bale for the time being, he's certainly grabbed his chance and taken it, and it would be awful for him to be all of a sudden dropped for Ekotto.
Prefer having Bale at LB rather than Benny as Bale is willing to get forward and fill in the gap that Modders/Niko leave when they cut inside. Also, considering Charlie is a more defensive fullback on the other side of our defence, it gives us a good attacking/defensive balance when we have Bale on the left
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
As much as Bale has impressed me this season, I have a feeling that once fully fit, 'arry would be playing BAE in the LB role...
