anyone follow them?
at one point me and two mated that played on a team when i was 10 were being scouted by them

my team never lost a game we played. but we were being scouted and altough we never were accepted nice to know they cared

always liked the team cuz of it and was wondering how they were doing

Shrimpers almost as important to me as Spurs. Great to see us get a win this weekend. Needed to kickstart the season and it's always good when an ex-spur scores. Lee Barnard is God and a remarkable price at 25k!!!

Very good team last time i saw them. I love watching Barnard play well for them. Play good stuff aswell.

Living in Southend they are very much my second team. They have just won 4 on the bounce, only 1 place outside the play-offs now. As much as I'd love to see Spurs come down to Roots Hall for a game I pray it's not for a league match next season!

I live in Basildon and i went to Southend college in my apprenticeship years , ( 29 years ago ) and used to go to the games there after college , plus i keep an eye on the Orient as well . There are a lot of shrimpers fans in Bas and their following is getting bigger . The O's stadium is right next to where the new olympic stadiums and village are being built so i can see brisbane rd being used as a venue for that . Barry Hernee has built two hotels there so i guess he'll be raking it in when it all happens .

i used to live in southend 13 years ago when i was 4 years old. They where the first team i ever saw. they beat Torquay 2-0 , and roy caroll was in goal for torquay. lol

Southend we're my first game I ever saw live... I went to roots hall and it cost £1 for me to get in
