Hi guys, just joined this forum. I had such a good time at both of our FA cup ties, i just had to say "thanks". Leeds United in league 1, with our reputation !!!. Things are going ok i suppose but the cup run has taken it's toll. I think we will struggle to get auto promotion, hope I'm wrong but it's the way I see it. We've a pretty good squad though, mix of youth and experience. A manager that seems up for it and can deal with Beckfords tantrums. I've supported them for 40yrs, it's been emotional ha.

welcome to the forum mate my uncle has been a leeds fan for 50 odd years and ive seen wat it has done to him lol

Thanks for the welcome guys. Had a bit of a look around the forum, nice site i have to say. So i suppose i should stick around then lol. I've only found one other site that welcomes away fans and that's a Leeds and punk related site, bloody good site imo lol.

Vinnie is a bit of a hero of mine, gave me some great times as a Leeds fan. He would fire everyone up, players and fans alike. No better sight than Vinnie giving the Leeds salute, passionate player that may have lacked some skills but made up for it with brute force.

Quite agree Morecambe Yid, not many characters around now. Loved the 70's footie, the 80's were mad too from the fans point of view. There was loads of trouble mid 80's, you had to keep your wits about you at all times on match days.

Welcome mate, i hope the FA cup run/exit doesn't affect your chances in the league. It is sad to see such a team as Leeds languishing in the lower leagues, especially with there good spectator support.

Thanks SAspursfan. Our league form is up and down, the way we're playing auto promotion will be tricky. It's everyones cup final when they play us, they raise their game as we did against the scum and yourselves in the cup.

Oh well, out of the JPT Cup on pens. Can't say i'm dissappointed, mickey mouse cup anyway .

Pitch invasion at the end by the Carlisle massive resulting in 3 of our players being punched. Not much in the press about it but if it was us that invaded it would be another story.

Hope we get out of this shitty league this season and avoid playing Carlisle, there maybe trouble ahead.

Seems like it's all gone tits up for us, losing at home to Millwall ffs. If we drop into the play off places we're screwed, the next few games will sort that out.
Don't know what's happend to Grayson, he lost the plot me thinks.
