Hi all, I am a spurs fan living in Brisbane, Australia. I am married to an English girl who is also a spurs fan. I thought I would sign up to this forum as I am in a good mood today, my 125 year spurs jersey arrived in the mail today courtesy of spurs direct. It is hard to get spurs gear over here. We are coming to England for christmas and are planning on going to the December 29 game against Reading. Go spurs.
hi and a massive warm welcome
enjoy the site mate
i bet its hard to get spurs stuff over there
But it does have a good side, at least I do't have to see any arsenal gear in the shops.
thats true and football is not the same down there is it

Most people used to call it soccer (thanks to the yanks), but now the A-league is in it's third season people are slowly starting to get it right and call it football. The A-league is slowly improving the quality of the game over here, but it will take a long time still.Originally Posted by SPURSRULE4LIFE

As I mentioned earlier my wife and I are coming to England for christmas and were hoping to go to the December 29 game against Reading. Do we need to join 'One Hotspur' to guarantee tickets or are there normally some available in the 'general sale' release ? If someone is able to give me some information it would be great, thanks.
Even if you join One Hotspur Lillywhite you are not "guarenteed"seats. However, it will give you a very good chance of getting them as Reading isn't (oe at least, should'nt be) a Category A game. It is possible you will be able to get them on general sale but this usually occurs fairly close to the game itself & obviously coming all the way from Oz you might not want to take the chance.Do we need to join 'One Hotspur' to guarantee tickets or are there normally some available in the 'general sale' release ? Seat prices range from £27 (Park Lane & Paxton lower) to £52 in East & West stands (depending on game of course). If you want a proper football atmosphere, the Park Lane is your best bet.
Thanks for your help 'Old Yid'. This will be the highlight of my year, finally seeing Spurs play after 37 years. But it is so hard from down here to know where to sit, will it sell out etc., all the things you guys have picked up over the years. Thanks again, much appreciated. :5:Originally Posted by Old Yid
When the tickets become available i will let you know (or at least try) to tell you the best way about getting them.
