Just a quick hi from Bangkok. I've been a Spurs supporter now for about 23 years. Back in the eighties I used to go to as many of the games as I could. I'm from Northampton so it was a bit of a journey each week. Well worth it though.
I remember my first game Spurs v Sunderland in the Milk cup and we won. I was standing in the Shelf with my brother and some of his mates. It was simply awesome. It was my first ever division one match and the atmosphere was electric. The chanting of "Come on your Spurs" and "Yiddos, Yiddos" just blew my mind. " Tony, Tony Galvin, Tony Galvin on the wing". The songs were amazing and so was the football. I was hooked and have never looked back since.
I live in Thailand now (past 15 years) and so don't get to see Spurs play live much. I see all the games on the telly here live which is good but never the same as at the Lane. I was in England in August and took my boy to see Spurs v Sunderland. Unfortuantely we lost that time. I was so glad to see Ramos go. If only we had Harry from the begining. Could have won the league? Anyhow, glad to be on the forum and I'll chat with you all soon.
Cheers,
David C.
