I'm both new to this forum and professional football. Here in the States, I live in New Jersey, football is not widely available to watch. However, I decided to start following the sport and settled on Tottenham. I admit I know very little about the team, itself, but I have been doing some research in my spare time. Also, I am familiar with the sport from playing when I was younger.

Welcome welcome onehanded. I'm from the states myself and couldn't agree more with ya that football is not shown nearly as much as it should stateside. But you are already starting out mighty fine just by supporting such a classy team!
Any questions about the mighty Spurs then don't hesitate to ask! There are some massively knowledgeable Spurs fans here who would love to be of assistance.
Welcome and enjoy.

A quick run down on major events in team history would be helpful.

Welcome to the forum, a quick run down on our glorious history would still be quite a bit!!
Here's the history section from this site
Tottenham Hotspur Forum - Spurs Site - Club History
And the year by year from the official site
Tottenhamhotspur.com - History - Year By Year
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
Thanks again.
Welcome from another new football fan also from America and we also have in common the great choices of joining this Forum and Spurs If you have questions just ask me or Luka Modric 2010 as we are the night shift moderators or main mods on when the Lads over there in England are sleeping or you can ask any of the other mods
