Hello all you Spurs fans,
In truth I'm partly raised in Italy, a lifelong Inter fan and on November 2nd I will hopefully be in some cozy corner of the North Stand among families as I try to keep lips sealed. No away colors, I promise. That said, I've supported Spurs as a second team for about 5 years, ever since weekly EPL broadcasts made it to my fair land, the USA. This started partly because of Robbie Keane, who was god awful in one year at Inter, but a familiar face at Spurs nonetheless. I'm moving to London for a masters degree in late September and have already got my Bronze One Hotspur membership, a home ticket for Aston Villa, and an away application in for West Ham. I know the squad quite well, but can't wait for an indoctrination into everything else that goes down on matchday.
What pubs must I absolutely visit on the way to a match?
Are there Spurs-friendly pubs around Liverpool Street/Spitalfields, which is where I'll be staying?
Finally, great move signing Van der Vaart at the deadline, I have some experience with Dutch attacking midfielders tossed out by Real Madrid. It should work like a charm.

Mate, 1st of all let me say welcome to the site.
Secondly, I myself am from the Spitalfields area. You'll love it around here &, quite honestly, you could not have picked a better spot to enjoy London from. Its also a great place to enjoy Spurs from as White Hart Lane is a 10-15min train journey direct from Liverpool Street station.
As for Spurs pubs, you're better off heading up to Tottenham really for the hardcore match-day pubs. There are a fair few Arse fans around here, especially where I am in N1. However there are plenty of us Spurs fans knocking about also if you look close enough
